P.S. I wish I could go to sales like that for comics M155_G33k - there are only incredibly rare flea markets here and they never have things like that. I used to do the same thing with archive floors in Forbidden Planet back home. It was so much fun going there and never knowing what old or rare issues you could pick up for next to nothing.
Yeah I love it. I was able to pick up the comic for a dollar and found out it was worth about 50 ^_^ but I normally like to just find the comics to read them. Plus I love the smell of the old comics haha nothing beats it.lol

I understand how its disgusting for someone to be overweight to the point that they cause discomfort to themselves and others, and are risking their health, but if someone is a few pounds overweight simply because they dont have the time/desire to spend their free time working out, and enjoy eating well, theres absolutely no reason not to respect their lifestyle.

This is pretty closeminded. What if someone just likes eating and doesnt mind being a bit overweight? I understand how its disgusting for someone to be overweight to the point that they cause discomfort to themselves and others, and are risking their health, but if someone is a few pounds overweight simply because they dont have the time/desire to spend their free time working out, and enjoy eating well, theres absolutely no reason not to respect their lifestyle.

I'm not talking about morbidly obese people who need to drastically adjust their lives if they want to keep on living either. I just find people who get to that point somewhat mystifying unless they have very understandable reasons for being that way (such as a proven medical condition or taking drugs for something else which causes their weight to balloon - or some kind of extreme trauma such as losing their family.) Those who end up like that because of parental enablers letting them live without employment and catering to their every whims frustrate me.

I love the whole 'bookstore/comic shop' smell and atmosphere. It sucks that there are absolutely no comic shops here. We only have a couple of merchandise stores that cater almost exclusively to Gundam kit makers and military model kits. I'm not a fan of either so it's a tad frustrating. The Japanese comic books here are sold in both Korean translation and original Japanese as graphic novels and tankubon/collected monthly books only. I buy only about three titles to swot up on my hangul and because I'm an art junkie. The Western selection consists mainly of currently popular stand-alones like Watchmen and V for Vendetta or DC standards such as Batman. There's hardly any Marvel available :/
I *love* the bookstores here though - they're so random in terms of what you can pick up in the Japanese and Western import sections. Sometimes it's like Xmas.
