wow that pink creep looks like a spill at a liposuction clinic
...Awesome sauce...
can you make it look like a spill at a toilet convention?
*SPECIAL REQUEST* could you try making a super pink bloody ultralisk that shoots out like 50 of the infestors spells that latch onto enemies and holds them there?
this is a serious request.

Yay capitalism?

The first will probably get you banned, while the second is limited to custom games. Thats not what I'm talking about....you had programs that modified game files to personalize your game. Example http://www.dotathemes.com/It isn't using custom models, which would require changing it for everyone, it was MPQ mods in order to personalize your OWN clients terrain etc. Its also 100% undetectable. People use it in WoW, technically bannable, but since it gives no external indication of use, 100% undetectable. (Texmod is used for WoW, popular among most MMO's). The only way to use this would be to make certain units squares to stand out more, which would be a rather minimal advantage.
Why is it undetectable? Can't they just take a hash of all of the game files and make sure they match the intended values? With a cryptographic hash function it is basically impossible to get around.

It's only undetectable until Warden (blizz anticheat from WoW) is active. Once it is, they will do exactly that, and they most certainly ban for it.

The darker creep does look better but the light pink creep would be a lot better for readability in my opinion. I think readability is more important.

Hm...this is pretty neat.

If someone finds out what channel in the dds files controls bloom intensity you'll be my hero. So far I don't think it even exists in this game which is extremely weird.

Sorry if i shouldnt revive this old thread, however ive made a few skins and decided to share them,if anyone cares.
Now these are not skins of whole races, just individual units.
All of them are based on old blizzard designs, concept art even on the ingame portrait.
Anyhow just as an example anyone remember the void ray.

gonna re-skin cloaked shit to be giant pink beacons of light

Ah i'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at that's different. To be clear we are talking about this image?

The Void Rays are no longer DT themed. Very cool

AS i sad im basing skins on Blizzard concept,so no stalkers were always a DT unit so always silver however ive done a slight reskin to make them look darker and creepier.
