Notes near the end of the chorus seemed a bit flat, same goes to a few notes near the end of the lines of each verse.
How about lowering down the key by a half step?
(A bit off topic: Most people think people are born to sing, but that is wrong. The reason they think that is because they haven't found their vocal ranges. Just because people can't sing well with the radio doesn't mean they can't sing at all.)
Also, your falsetto sounds really noticeable as if there's no transition to it or as if you're exaggerating it.
I have not heard the original so I don't know if those practices above that I thought wrong were done intentionally.
It sounds good enough for a live performance though.

Thanks for all the opinions guys! I'm a total amateur vocalist. I've never had any lessons and I've only started taking my vocals seriously very recently because I'm now singing for a band (we're a rock trio but I'm the only guy that can sing at all).
There's NO falsetto in this song and it's an original
Thanks peoples!

when you hold certain long notes they seem to start a little flat and then raise up. really like your screaming, got me all pumped up!
