I wish i had the time to play 2k games a season :[
Impressive though! I wonder what the record is for most games played in a single season.

unholy mother of god
that's more games than white-ra O.O

Of course it got boring because he got used to rofl stomping over noobs. Rofl stomping = fun. Drawn out games in which you lose to a noob = boring/aggrivating. It's what happens when people learn how to learn a game. A bonjwa was the best in the beginning because either they got lucky and figured it out, or they knew how to get better. Memorizing openings became an uber strat just like memorizing build orders and timings became an uber strat. Eventually we all end up playing like a computer lol.

Sick dedication dewd. What rank were you before this season started?
|
Nice dude, congrats! I guess...hehe

Damn, 2000 games. Amazing effort. What was your highest rank before these 2000 games, how much did you improve?
|

this was 3rd season i play (obv played on other accounts in past seasons) season 1: went from d- to d+ (only played 1 month in this season) season 2: went from d+ to c- (took a 1.5 month break during this season) season 3: went from c- to c+ (well even though i ended on c im confident i could get to my c+ high back if i stopped fucking around with allins for the last 40 games , reason why I played so much was I made a promise to myself to play 2k games and if i didnt make c+ high i would quit videogames forever and focus on school/life but I made it :D I lost alot of motivation when I got in sc2 beta but a promise is a promise so i had to keep it. I really tried this season more than the other 2

How many weeks in a season?
|
That's a lot of games. That's probably more games in a season than I play in 2 years.

this season is 72 days long, 11 weeks (going by motw iterations). But this one is shorter than past ones since tsl made the last one longer. Usually a season is about 90 days, or 3 months

I played you 2 games few days ago. 1st game i cannon rushed you and 2nd you did 2 hatch allin ling.
Just little bit of advice try to play straight up games if you really wanna improve. Cheesing 2k games will never improve your game. Cheese is advanced tactic for more experienced players with good micro and you clearly dont have that.

i didnt really cheese that much. Vs terran bio every game I play standard 3 hatch muta 3 gas defiler 4 gas ultra
vs mech if i scout it i usually go 3 hatch hydra into mutas into expansons/guardians/defilers drops whatever
in the last 200 of my 2000 games vs protoss i watched about 5 mamon replays. I realized he got extremely far doing 9 hatch 9 pool 9 gas 9 overlord vs protoss on certain maps. I tried this on the 3 old courage maps and it works absolutely amazing on moonglaive but it is balls on hbr since too many ppl scout it and on fighting spirit not as well. I've tried every cheese many times to truly figure out the odds of players scouting various paths and doing certain things. I may not have good micro/macro relatively speaking but one thing I think I am at least decent at is is mind games, feeling when they will cheese me and knowing when to cheese, knowing when they are going to tech switch or shuttle harass or secret expo or whatever. But the only way I learned this is by experimenting every which way, watching replays and vods and not giving a damn about my win ratio. But I can also play 5 hatch hydra/muta standard vs protoss. What usually ended up happening is I play lamely vs a player then if they beat me I play normal. But this didn't happen as much in the past 200 games because of moonglaive and its amazing layout and lack of knowledge of simcities by most players. But I understand what you say, when I first started out 3 seasons ago all I did was make zerglings and attack move. I had no idea about micro or anything but I learned alot of it now. I would do a lame build, then several weeks later after playing standard builds I would realize a weakness trend in a certain players thought process and that there was a hole open if I went back to doing my lame build which was stopped before. So then the cycle would repeat itself and I would get better as a result. I may not have good micro but I certainly improved alot so please dont rain on my parade . When I started my apm was like 100 now its usually around 180 with0 spam and there are moments in the games where I can feel my hands just move in reaction to something without even thinking about it.
but one big problem as well is that there are way too many clearstats resetting masturbators (you might be one) that cheese everygame in low ranks and if I go 12 hatch or 12 pool or even overpool on some maps its to slow to stop that especially when they have better micro so tactically speaking its much better for me to do lame shit like hydra breaks and ling allins when they are overconfindent and dont even scout me till later, or they go allin themselves.
and as i said in my post sc2 beta came out and i lost a lot of motivation. Alot of games I lost I probably couldve won or made a comeback but what ends up happening is I make 1 or 2 dumb mistakes or my opponent does a great move and I fuck up and get flustered and quit out in under 10 minutes (alt q q is too easy to press )

Cannon rush is not allin and it cant be blocked on moonglavie top position unless you cancel your hatch so its a win/win situation for protoss. He did same bo in both games so im 100% sure he was planing to go allin in 1st game too.
