Results of the Revenge Van match... + Show Spoiler +
That's right. "임 이 최 마" is now "임 이 박 마" and JulyZerg has taken his rightful spot as the God of War and the original Zerg b-word after + Show Spoiler +
I for one couldn't be happier. My introduction to pro starcraft through TeamLiquid was watching the OSL finals between BeSt and JulyZerg with BeSt being projected as the one to take it, but July's monstrous mindgames destroyed the oft-humbled young protoss star. From the 5pool to the dronedrills to the burrowed hydra corsair snipe and the modern revolution of macro style ZvP, July showed all sorts of talents that made me fall in love with the game as it is played today.
Tushin fighting!

Better not post a thread with such a title after the MSL finals.

I love this picture. I wish the new kids in SC would loosen up a little bit.

Who was predicting BeSt would win that series? I don't remember that at all but I had just started to watch sc at that point too

Granted the map was Andromeda, but July gave Best a rather good drubbing in game 3.

July had been slumping for awhile and Best was the new up and coming Macro god. Of course people were expecting the new guy to take down the old timer. Glad we were wrong though, was an awesome series to watch. Don't think anyone will beat July out for pulling off ballsy moves :D

Julyzerg is awesome in so many ways. I think he has the perfect qualities to really own it up in sc2.

Only the King Kong can carry SumoZerg like that.

I haven't seen the games yet, but I don't mind spoilers all the time, so I'll still have to take a look at the games.

It was the classic new up and comer vs old star, and everyone expects the new up and comer to win those.

Best was considered the favorite because he had insanely good macro. People (including me) thought that July wouldn't be able to keep up in a macro war. Of course July completely mindfucked the poor guy in games 1 and 2 and then destroyed him in a 40-minute game on Andromeda. Good times.
