Hey guys,
I will make this short. I have been away from watching live starcraft and really using any newer features on tl for the last 6 months.
Last night I watched my first live games since jun09..... it was fucking amazing. mbc.peron, roffles, mystlord, konadora .... I couldn't believe it. I am sure that there are more but I just wanted to say how fucking cool these guys are for carrying on the legacy of TP,Aers, corinthos as teamliquid heros in my book.
Thanks again guys! Also all you streamers please unblock AttackZerg so that I can post =)
(I DO NOT WATCH ENOUGH LIVE STARCRAFT TO KNOW ALL OF THE NAMES INVOLVED IN HELPING. PLEASE DO NOT FEEL LEFT OUT i JUST LISTED THE NAMES I SAW LAST NIGHT!)

Some have the dedication of those guys perhaps. Anyways I think this is a great blog, kudos to the streamers, just don't mute the channel and chat amongst the mods! >< cruelty.

Thank you streamers
You guys are awesome!

I gotta agree. The people providing the streams are doing an amazing service for the community. I flicked through the streams during the MSL quarters today and combined, there were over 6000 viewers!(!!!!!)

I'd love to keep it open and I usually do for PL matches and stuff, but when it hits numbers like 500+, I'm basically forced to close the chat because of the idiot spammers and the way it floods. At times when many chat lines come in at a time, stream might bug a bit.

It's really a great enjoyment, to watch with people who share the same interest as you. You might not like the same players as other people, but that's all part of the fun.

I'm gonna start relaying streams and open up an elitist livestream channel when games happen. Chatting about games while they're happening is super fun, and some of the best experiences I've had at TL have been talking about games in an intimate setting, like Day[9]'s first ever cast with about 50 people and doctorhelvetica's stream when he was active in banning people.

It's such a different mindset now it's hard remembering when watching a live game wasn't such an easy process. Thanks Corinthos/aers/all the livestreamers!

IRC is there for a reason. You gonna do anything for your 5k?

Don't forget kentor, zeroboy is such a nice way to watch livestreams without the bullshit on the regular site! :3
The popularization of livestream has really done wonders for viewership levels around here, though. It's great.

Why don't people just use Ongamenet.com to watch games that are recorded by OGN? The quality is much better and if you need to chat you could use IRC.
Big love to all the streamers none the less.

You know what I agree. Streamers are awesome! it's much more fun to watch with people and good analysis, fanboyism, etc. than to watch it in slightly better quality with none of the above.
|
thank you to all you streamers

Yes. You are totally right, OP. I have been able to watch a lot of games live, which enhances the experience so much.
You can't forget about Matoo's OGN and MBC embedded streams. I dig those too.
Thanks a lot to all streamers

Amazing work from the regular streamers. I wish I had the time (and time zone^^) to stream more whenever needed, but it's difficult when the stuff is going on at 5 in the morning GMT+1.
