Armin Van Buuren's top 250 tracks of 2009, as voted by listeners came out today. The list consists of mostly vocal trance. I am still looking for a torrent of rar of the top 250, hopefully somone will make it or else I will have to download each one individually.

Very disappointed with this list. Way too much poppy vocal trance and armada tracks. ASOT and armada isn't what it use to be. Above & Beyond and their anjunabeats label is the place to go now. They continually put out solid trance and progressive house tracks.
I thought above & beyond put on a much better end of the year show with their user cast trance around the world 300 show and also their 6 set 9 hour celebration cast recorded live in moscow (above & beyond, proff, daniel kandi, super8 & tab, mat zo, kyau & albert) I haven't stop listening to this set. Its over 100 tracks and contains tons of good tracks plus most of my favorites from 2009.

this, top 20 was a joke when i listened to it 2 weeks ago

Every year the top 20 gets worse, and this trend will only continue.
This is due to Armin's popularity with the mainstream crowd growing every year, so all of these casual fan boys vote for his songs. I'm a hardcore trance fan and although I do love armin, and his songs are (for the most part) good... there were SO many better songs that didn't make it into the top 20.

... comercial trance stuff, the vocals are so annoying. Might find some nice songs in there though.

this guy vixro has some good stuff he definitely knows how to mix. (this year mix has some vocal tracks but atleast they are tasteful vocal tracks.)

usually his stuff is in 320 just due to the size of this file he made it 192
