Enlighten me. I tend to suck with him, and tend to lose to him
If any teams (Aus/NZ preferably) want to have some scrims then whisper m1LkmaN on HoN. Pretty new team, most of us have only been playing pubs together but all of us played DotA competitively for some period of time in the last year or two.

Ehh, it's quite easy actually. He's one bad ass motherfucker, just like Maliken, uber strong but underplayed for the most part.
Some most common mistakes people make with him (itemwise):
Elder Parasite and Ghost Marchers. What does it give you? +ias, +ms, +dmg, +lifesteal, +dmg taken, creepwalking
What does Predator already have built in? +dmg, +lifesteal, leap (even better than creepwalking as it doubles up as nuke), slow (which gets rid of ms problems for the most part)
Summary: With this 2 items you get +ias, +dmg taken and that's it. Not really worth it for the price included.
What does Predator NOT have? HP. That's your primary concern, his statgains are terrible and you must offset it with items.
My build on him:
Start with hatchet, some tangos and cheap +stats. Proceed on building Helm of Black Legion -> Steamboots (much better than marchers on him, they give you dmg, ias and hp) -> whatever suits you better at the moment (+dmg, +str or +ias items), be it Insanitarius (when strapped for cash), Shieldbreaker (for some cheap, early ownage), DualBrand (no idea how it's called, Sange and Yasha) for some nice +everything, Behemoth Heart (when you feel your survivability is not enough), Demonic Breastplate (for some more ownage, this +ult = mass -11 armour, nifty), Riftshards (very underused item, lets you kill people in 2 hits) etc.
With the items shown in the image above I was able to a-move into enemy base, watch Magmus, Hellbringer, Moon Queen, Deadwood and Madman use everything they got on me (all ults etc.) which brought me to about half my hp (~4k hp and ~40hp/sec regen helps a lot) and then I proceeded to kill them all.
Counters: - just like with any other carry - you let him farm -> you die - early ganks - tons of disable (he has auto-included shrunken head with lesser cooldown and +armour bonus, beware!) - barbed armour - permastuns
Probably the biggest problem with countering him is that you need hp to do it and the more hp you have, the more he hurts you. Soloing him is nigh-impossible.
Puppet doesn't need more nerfs. I think he was nerfed over and over again solely because of me being too baller with him in those tournaments. Testie got puppet nerfed to shit. =(

I talkeds tos the guy who maed gaeims and he says it testie's fault. Fuck you testie ze.

So now Torturer can interupt channels or not?
I love the changes to Pudge, Glacious and Venom.
Don't cry over SW everyone knew this was coming.
I don't like the nerf to Puppet
I guess Swiftblade is viable now. That is some serious buffs there.
Dead needs a little more nerf.
When are they going to give Hellbringer feets! He looks so wierd with a vacuum under his robe. Maybe they fixed it gonna have to check later.
Torturer: probably. Though I hope this doesn't go through as the range is retarded.
Glacius is going to be grief time ;3 AND WHAT BETTER EXCUSE IS THERE THAN 'I WAS GIVING YOU 80% DAMAGE REDUCTION'
I'm glad Jacob isn't here to gypsy stuff up like he does in DotA with veno with these changes.
FFFFFFUUUUU SPECTRE I really wish one of these days, somebody just says 'fuck it, we're bringing back super awesome random dispersion'
Swiftblade changes aren't going through. If they do, I'm going to be a sad ze. The cooldown change can go through, I don't care about that. But the fact that you can attack while spinning at level 4 is just ridiculous. Now not only do I have to worry about taking 700 magic damage, but this fucker is also attacking me with a stupidly baller crit. And if I manage to survive that, OH I'M OMNISLASHING YOU, IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT THERE'S 50 CREEPS AROUND, YOU'RE TAKING 8 HITS WITH ANOTHER 5+ ATTACKS IN BETWEEN THAT CAN ALSO CRIT BECAUSE I'M THE FUCKING JUGGERNAUT.
What are stairs? Will we be able to make maps with several levels? It would be so awsome to play HoN in a castle like setting :p
I'm hoping these stupid stairs go where ramps are supposed to be.
Because I still can't tell where the fuck they are visually.
So Corrupted disciple can see invisi units now as long as they are linked together? Oh and the nerfs on him are negligible imo. Vanguard nerf,, we knew it was coming, so meh
well im testing it all and tort's suction is not only not very good but it's also bugged (cant pull more than like 5-6 units). anything not very close to the target only gets pulled in a short distance, but the biggest thing is that it's an instant pull and even if sucked in you barely if at all lose control of your hero, unlike vacuum. havent tested if it interrupts channeling but i doubt it (similar to say kraken's charge doesnt)
and yes there are stairs in place of every ramp on the map
