I would love to see more your speculation on the similarities between Flash and Oov. The way these two approach the game I think is quite similar as Ver used to say, both dictate the game flow instead of reacting based on opponents' move and their mind game is of the greatest

I love how slanted some of these writeups are. Always using positive words to describe what he does, putting everything he does in the most positive light possible, etc. Yeah, I'm a Flash hater. Always been, always will be. He just isn't entertaining to watch. He keeps going for the most 'effective' builds over and over (see- his anti-carrier build) because he can't think of doing anything else, and because progamers these days get so much pressure on them just to win, win, win. And he's also fond of sitting in his base, turtling til he rolls out and steamrolls the other player. How thunderously boring. And that's why he'll never be the 'neo-Boxer' he wants to be. Simply winning isn't enough, little monster.

Simply winning isn't enough, little monster. What other criteria should Flash use in choosing his builds besides effectiveness? He certainly doesn't give a crap whether Abyzou is entertained, thank God. When have progamers not had pressure on them to win? Winning is what being a progamer is about. Also, your characterization of Flash as a turtle player suggests that you haven't watched any of his games in the last 3 months, which may be fine for you if you don't like him, but which makes your opinion completely uninformed. Basically, quit spouting nonsense --- every single progamer plays to win and Flash is just loads better at it than almost everyone else. On December 28 2009 21:44 SuperArc wrote: Why didnt JD get such an epic article when he was close to Dual SL win just a few months ago? The only one who could prevent JD from winning both was Oz/PL. I suspect KT will destroy Flash's dreams too. I hope I am wrong, hes one of the most underachieving players ever. Dude, I know where that's coming from, but I have to disagree. He's gotten most-wins in PL twice, which to me seems like a very big achievement. (You know your team is godawful if you have most-wins and they don't even make the playoffs!) Tack on to that an OSL, the GSI, and a random Gom SL that nobody cares about (lol), and you have a resume that's not half bad for a 17-year-old. I know you're not knocking Flash --- and I understand you're talking about OSLs and MSLs relative to comparable players like Jaedong and Bisu --- so just give the kid a little bit more time. He's still younger than either of those two were when they took their first leagues

Because this write-up might shed a new light on some things Flash does and his "turtlish" style of play in TvT and sometimes TvP. And also simply because his post makes it seem like he hasn't watched any of Flash's games over the last few months.

Aren't you the same guy that always says things about Flash that are grossly inaccurate anyway?
