Oh well, at least we'll see each other at wcg dude! :D
I gotta remember to keep bumping this thread so occasional newcomers notice it.

No;; I circumvented that problem by just going around to record stores. Seoul's metro system doesn't take much time.
I would be grateful if you'd come pick me up, but I won't know if I'm going until Monday KST. Real life problem -_-
I was worried that this date was the same as the SAT dates. Phew;;

lucky did you call them that we're still going to show up?
|
Pretty sure he did. they should give us a discount..

I talked to a guy like a week ago and he said to call back later, I called back later and got no answer. I'm going to be in that area with a friend on Thursday (in 2 days) so I'll probably stop by in person and talk with whoever's there. I wish they would let us reserve spaces/computers.

Ahhh dang! I'm in the Baltimore area but I don't have a car (college student). If anyone could give me a ride from Johns Hopkins University I would really appreciate it! If not, I could look into taking a ride to the DC metro (or whereever is closest). But I'm not sure how I would get there from the metro.

I swear to God Xeris lives in some 9th dimension. The guy phases in and out of space and time to be at every Starcraft event ever.

You won't stab me with a samurai sword if I come get you, will you? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/15/AR2009091500715.html
I'm kidding, baltimore is a long ways away from me...just had to throw it out there while the story was in my head.
Though if you take the metro I could probably get some folks.
edit - assuming I don't move to Germany... still dunno if I am or not, won't know for a week or two.

Torenhire I thought u already left for Germany long ago, I took u off the list weeks ago. :D

I totally forgot this was happening. Can anyone coming from MD give me a ride?

On a totally unrelated note - I blew out one of my woofers in my car playing the Terran starcraft soundtrack today.

... lol ROFL EPIC.
And yeah I figure a bunch of people forget, reminder pm's will be sent out a week before and then a day before for anyone and everyone who's even hinted at expressing slight interest in this.
Louder! Tell everyone exactly what your bringing for prizes! Storrzerg tells me some super keyboard among other things? We need to drum up more excitement for this! Also who's interested in donating some money for a prize pot for 2nd/3rd place etc.
I am.
Remember everyone needs to bring like $35 for the day to cover pc cafe expenses and dinner anyway. pc cafe is 2 an hour so if you come for 8 hours thats 16 bucks plus whatever dinner costs, I need to double check dinner cost, it's an all you can eat buffet so everyone just pays the same flat rate and eats whatever, should be cool I think it's like 15 bucks a head or somethign.
|
I hope I'll be there and I'll have prize pool monies if I am. I'll pick you up again LF if you want.
|
Thanks but I can drive this time. I'll probably get there early because everyone will have my cell number and I don't want to be driving and giving directions to different people at the same time.
Oh and yeah you better be there torenhire I'm putting you back on the confirmed list so now you have to come.
