Converting VODs From TL Tracker

Revabug United Kingdom147 Posts July 15 2009 15:44 GMT #1 So I really don't like the .wmv format - for some reason with VLC I can't use the time bar - I have to watch the video from start to finish. Also I can't add to my iPod (damn why is Apple so obsessed over not letting people use their iPod classics freely? :/) What program would you recommend for converting them to MP4 so I can play them on my PC and on my iPod? Not too bothered about quality just speed.

It's seriously fast and comes with great variety of formats. I watch VODS on my PSP (best device for it) but i believe that it will handle ipod format equally well. Hope this helps

Chef 10810 Posts July 15 2009 16:39 GMT #4 Use MediaCoder. I always watch VODs on my iPod and it's what I use. Extensions > Digital Media Players > iPod. Easy, reliable, free. PS: Don't use Videora or any other crap special iPod only converting program. If MediaCoder really doesn't work for some reason, the only other encoder that will force it to work is Jodix (because of the way it works), but that is very unideal.

darkmetal505 United States639 Posts July 15 2009 17:10 GMT #5 Videora to convert and Sharepod to add to your iPod. Sharepod is really nice because you can delete items without having to erase your contents. It also lets your backup your iPod onto your computer.

I'm sure you will need to use other features it has in the future. Yes there are other programs that work without flaw like listed already, but this is that and more.
