"I will continue the momentum from Round 4 in Round 5."
ACE's Oversky defeated eSTRO's Hyvaa in the first set, held on the 8th of June.
The following is the interview with Oversky.
- Your thoughts on your team ending its losing streak?
▲ For my two losses, I lost them when I thought I had won, so I was very disappointed with myself. I won today, so I'm just happy.
- You were forced to cancel your nat's hatchery in the game.
▲ I practiced with counters to a few builds my opponent could go in my mind. And my opponent went for one of those builds. I had a cold so my condition was poor, but thankfully I was able to defend well against Hyvaa's attack and win.
- You have less than a hundred days to your discharge, and you are making more appearances than before.
▲ I was quite tired so I wanted to take a break, but I wanted to at least record 20 wins before I get discharged, so I am putting in a lot of effort lately. I am trying my best to heighten my gaming skills before my discharge.
- Does that mean you will continue being a progamer after your discharge?
▲ I am not sure yet.
- Do you plan to encourage your lower-ranked teammates to perform ceremonies more often?
▲ When I was just a Private, I did not even think about (doing ceremonies), but as I became a Sergeant, I naturally started doing ceremonies to express our desire for victory. I believe when the other players get to the rank of Corporal, they will naturally start doing ceremonies as well.
- How did you practice for matches?
▲ It has gotten harder to practice with other teams nowadays. That is why I've been practicing heavily with YellOw, by.hero, Devil and MIsO_Lt. When the map 'Battle Royal, was still in use, it was easy to practice with other Zerg members, but now that all the maps are played by all three races, it's gotten harder to find players to practice with.
- Your team's target for the season?
▲ I have not thought of one for myself, but I think that as long as I win my games, my team will win. One day, somebody wrote '15 wins this season' on the whiteboard as our target for Round 5. That is why everyone has accepted 15 wins as our target.
- Any final words?
▲ I was in a losing streak for a long time, and I will work hard to make sure that I produce the same good results in Round 5 which I produced in Round 4.

Anytime: "My target for this season is to get my winning rate to above 50%."
"I think our team can easily win 13 games."
"I think our team can easily win 13 games."
- Your thoughts on your team ending its losing streak?
▲ I am glad that we won when we've been losing matches so absurdly these past few days. Our team has gotten better since the start of Round 4, and we have to focus on maintaining our winning streak from now on.
- You pushed out nicely with just one go.
▲ When I played defensively during practice, my games didn't turn out well so I decided on going for an offensive build only just today. And somehow it worked well. It seems that getting more archons instead of templars on this map is the latest trend. I just decided to follow the trend.
- Your reason for playing a bit poorly in Round 4?
▲ The other players were playing so well, so I think I loosened up a bit too much. But as Round 5 kicked off, I got sent out more often, so I picked myself up again and set my targets straight once more, hence being able to win today's game.
- Your team's head-to-head score against eSTRO is now ahead.
▲ Strangely enough, everyone was very confident playing against eSTRO. Our coach also felt that we will definitely win, and because of that, everyone tried even harder.
- If your team wins just one more match, your team's number of wins will hit two digits.
▲ We can definitely record 10 wins. We set our target to be 15 wins in the start of Round 5, and although it may seem a bit hard, we will definitely try our hardest. Personally speaking, I think we can at least record 13 wins without any problem.
- You recorded 20 wins this season.
▲ I personally wanted to get my winning rate to above 50%, but I lost many times despite the fact that I was sent out a lot, so I am not satisfied yet. I will work hard to end off the season with at least 50% winning rate.
- Any final words?
▲ I was very troubled over which build to use, but Sergeant DaezanG gave me a lot of help, helping me to decide on a build. I want to say thanks to him.

XellOs: "It feels the same as when I made my first debut."
"I was slightly angry when I couldn't micro as well as what I wanted."
"I was slightly angry when I couldn't micro as well as what I wanted."
- Your thoughts on your team ending its losing streak?
▲ I felt that we will win today, and because we did win, I feel good.
- This is your first winning streak since your entry into ACE. Did you know that?
▲ When I was sent out for my first game, I read an article about how long it has been since I last played. But I did not even realise that myself. Game content-wise, I wasn't satisfied with my game today, but I won so I'm happy.
- This is your first interview since your entry into ACE. How do you feel?
▲ It feels like when a newcomer won his first Proleague game. It feels different from when I was in CJ. Because I am the youngest in ACE, it feels as though I had started anew.
- Your wraith micro wasn't so good.
▲ I was angry with myself because of my poor micro. I practiced a lot, but it didn't work out as well as I had thought. I have to work harder.
- GoRush is one player who adjusted very quickly to ACE. Do you feel the same with yourself?
▲ My body has adjusted, but my mind has not. My duties as a soldier comes before anything, so I am not able to concentrate 100% on gaming yet. I believe that I will get more adjusted as I climb up the ranks.
- This is the final round of the season. How do you want to end it off?
▲ ACE getting into the playoffs is impossible, but I will try my best to get our winning rates as high as possible. I will practice with the mindset that Round 5 is just a stepping stone for the next season. I believe that my games will turn out even better as I get promoted higher up the ranks. Look forward to me.
