CJ's 'Maestro' sAviOr defeated firebathero in the first game of CJ Entus vs Samsung Khan for the Shinhan Bank Proleague Round 4 Week 2 Day 2, held on the 19th at the MunRaeDong LOOX MBC Hero Center, contributing to his team's victory.
The following is the interview with sAviOr.
- You ended your losing streak against firebathero.
▲ When the game ended, I didn't feel that happy. Somehow I just felt empty. I just want to wash away any bad memories that I have regarding the games I have played against firebathero.
- You have never managed to defeat firebathero in a non-series face-off. (Not a BoX)
▲ I was always shaken by firebathero all the while. I prepared for today's game, thinking that I must catch up to him, and placed great emphasis in keeping my mind under control.
- It was the first appearance of a Terran on Battle Royal.
▲ It is indeed a Zerg-favored map. But in my case, I somehow felt that my play has to be more restricted on this Zerg-favored map. I think that having the thought of "I need to defend against Terran's strategies" affects me negatively.
- You won relatively easily.
▲ I tried to play as safe as possible. The fact that I can scout very quickly with my overlord is a big plus on my side. Being able to scout early makes the map favor Zerg a lot.
- You seem to be doing well after defeating Bisu and firebathero.
▲ I think so too. All those losses against Bisu and firebathero were in 2008, and now it's 2009, so I am doing my best to brush those losses aside and perform well.
- You seem to have turned around your mood positively during the Winner's League.
▲ I liked it because I was used to the Winner's League's format. I think that if you manage to win a match, it affects your team's mood positively. On the whole, everyone's skill improved, our mood is much more positive, and everyone is able to focus much better during practice now.
- What did you place the greatest emphasis on while preparing for your match against firebathero?
▲ It was, of course, controlling my mind. I would always just scuffle and end up losing against firebathero. I felt that I was always being dragged along by his plays, but this time, I kept thinking that I can win no matter how he plays, and I believe that is what contributed the greatest towards my victory.
- Any final words?
▲ sKyHigh and Memory helped me during practice this time. I also practiced with other team's players, such as KTF's Flash and eSTRO's UpMaGiC. Those players were going to play on Battle Royal too, so it was a win-win situation for us. Playing with those players helped me greatly.

'Berseker' Iris: Our team is now balanced in all match-ups.
"I am ashamed that I am not in the top 10 of the overall wins within my team."

CJ's 'Berserker' Iris defeated Juni in the second game of CJ Entus vs Samsung Khan for the Shinhan Bank Proleague Round 4 Week 2 Day 2, held on the 19th at the MunRaeDong LOOX MBC Hero Center, contributing to his team's victory.
The following is the interview with Iris.
- You helped to bring about your team's victory.
▲ It has been a long time since I last played (on stage), so I was slightly nervous. However, I managed to win cleanly, so I feel quite refreshed.
- You played mech.
▲ There were many Terrans being sent out on Heartbreak Ridge. Because of that, I thought the map was Terran-favored, so I said that I wanted to be sent out, but I found out that it was harder than I thought during practice. Choosing a strategy that is the least affected by terrain helped me to emerge victorious.
- You sealed your victory through your vulture drop.
▲ It was a risky strategy. It was a strategy that would have caused me to lose if even one of my turrets were destroyed. I further developed the strategy from SKTelecom's fantasy's build, using it as a benchmark, and I once again realised that it is indeed a very strong strategy.
- CJ's mood is very good recently.
▲ Over half of it is due to sKyHigh's performance (laughs). Our team's atmosphere and mood changed completely after the finals. If this keeps up, I will be confident in any upcoming matches.
- With how things are looking, your team can even aim for the (Proleague) Grand Finals.
▲ There was once when we even dropped all the way to the 10th rank, but we have improved a lot since then. But the middle-ranked teams are not so far from (our scores), so we are not letting our guard down.
- The main reason for such an improvement in your team's atmosphere recently?
▲ The new players are performing well, reducing the burden on the veteran players and giving them more time to sort things out. Through that, we managed to create a balanced lineup.
- Your team has the most wins with 19 wins.
▲Actually, I am embarrassed that I am not in the top 10 of the overall wins within my team . It must be because players with more wins are clear-headed. I want to play more (on stage) but Skyhigh has been doing too well recently (laughs). I want to try my best and hit my target of 30 wins.

The following is the interview with Effort.
- You sealed your team's victory.
▲ My opponent played exactly as I planned, so it was an easy victory for me.
- Your had an enormous build order advantage.
▲ "As I thought, he is playing according to plan." That was what I thought. All the while, I played high-economy by going spawning pool first and taking the nat later, but I thought that my opponent will make use of that trend. So this time I decided to play low-economy.
- It seems that your team's victory in the Winner's League has had a great impact on everyone in your team.
▲ After the Winner's League victory, our team's mood improved, and so did our teamwork. I think that my skill improved because everyone is trying very hard too.
- How are your recent practices?
▲ My practices are going great, so I have a lot of confidence to even do well in the individual leagues. Our training method changed, but there was not much difficulties.
- How many wins do you plan to accumulate in Round 4?
▲ So far I have not thought so hard about it. I'll just play to my fullest for whatever matches I get to play.
