Silent Hill vs Resident Evil
For system specs 2gig ram, 2.0 ghz, laptop shared video ram, which is the scariest game regardless of graphics (though graphics is a plus?)

for RE, I think I'll probably go with Resident Evil 1's remake on gamecube which I think is Resident Evil 0??
What about Silent Hill. I heard that it is scary as hell too, but there are like, 4 of them, and then there are a ton of addons with random names like origins and homecoming. so confused.

Resident evil 1's remake is still resident evil 1. Resident evil 0 was a prequel released after the remake. Both are extremely good.

It's usually agreed that Silent Hill 2 is the best of the series.
Good choice with RE1 though. The scariness of that series kinda went downhill with RE3.

ya, i'm gonna go with resident evil 1's gamecube remake. i'll probably use dolphin as the emulator.

Resident evil is more fun to play. But silent hill games are more scary. 100% sure.
Try and play the first ones in the series, they are the best.

comparing SH with another horror game is insulting imo. RE is nice and enjoyable but SH is in a different league

Polyphasic, if you want to get scared shitless, play SH1 using playstation emulator. if you want a disturbing game with very good story, play SH2. if you want neither of these, but want to pop zombie heads, play RE2, which is the best of the series.

why not get RE4? its one of the greatest games to come out on the gamecube
