next time when you are out and looking for new ones, get headphones.. much healthier and comfortable

Yang KOSS is so fuckin cheap. I prefer the earphones that wrap around the ear and fit snug into the ear. Any other earphones I ever had just seem to go shit on me. I do go through a pair of earphones a year though.

Headphones are a bitch when you are working out imo.

Earbuds are convenient. They're small and stay in yoru ear easily.
Headphones beat the shit out of them in sound quality, though.

those are some really nice phillips headphones might need to buy some soon.

what exactly causes earphones to go bad? I've gone through like 4-5 different earphones and their lifetimes seem to differ so drastically. Is there a way to prolong their usage?
|
ahh those headphones are really nice I used to have a pair they last pretty long i through headphones like they are nothing these lasted for a good 5 months and thats using them EVERYDAY almost constantly. And I generally go through headphones within a week to a month :p only problem for me was i tended to lose the damned rubber things that go in your ear xD but then again that could just be me.

Cans ftw. Even though I do use earbuds for gaming, the reason is mostly I just don't have the money for a decent pair of headphones. Shure makes really good quality earbuds, they're designed as stage monitors for musicians. Good response, maybe a bit lacking in the highs, but the balance overall is excellent. A bit more expensive than your average consumer earbuds, but you get what you pay for IMO.

I've started taking a liking to earbuds. They usually have the same sound quality as more expensive headphones, and at a way cheaper price. Only problem is that my ears hurt after about an hour of use. I've gotten a bit more used to it, but they are still fairly uncomfortable.
(I do have my eye on these KOSS headphones, because a bunch of people on head-fi say that they are ridiculously comfy)

i post this in like every earphone thread lol They are, but they have terrible durability. I sent in my first pair to get replaced (luckily under warranty then) but the rubber wore away on this replacement pair 3 months after the warranty ended. :/
I really do love them, but I think my next pair of earbuds is going to be something with a better warranty like Shure. If I pay using Mastercard, I should get the warranty doubled as well so 4 years of coverage.
Either that or I'll just start getting Skullcandies and replacing them when they break.
