Elric offers some good advice; study the things you can learn on your own so the class doesn't overwhelm you in the first weeks. In my personal experience in Korea, friends were the key to learning Korean quickly. Things like chatting on MSN messenger forced me to get my vocab and grammar straight.

My advice is not to study too hard though, esp if you're only here for 10 weeks.. Concentrate on having fun! I hang around Sinchon (area around Yonsei) a lot so I'm sure we'll meet up sometime. p.s glad my blog helped a little! | ||
