It sometimes helps to watch your replays. I usually wait a couple days and go back and watch a few so I forget what happened in all of them. That way I can look at my games with "fresh" eyes.

I didn't think it would take this long for the ranks to settle though =/ How long do the seasons go for anyhow? I believe each season is 3 months long.

It's not that I only want to rank up, but it's kinda hard to find good games when no one wants to play because of my rank. It is good practice, yes. I will have to disagree with you on the standard part though. I just recently switched to P because when I was Z, no matter what hour it was, I would get bunker rushed by T or 2 gate by P maybe 1 in every 10 or so games. It's become really annoying. I don't seem to experience that as P however. I never get cheesed anymore

I'm P, and the last two games on ICCup I played was a proxy 2-gate against toss and a bunker rush (don't ask me why he bunker rushed against a P, but he won!)

Fuck...I completely forgot about actively learning, rather than passively... Back when I used to play warsow, before each game I used to decide on one key aspect of gameplay that I would improve. I eventually got good at warsow (not one of the best, as the best have been playing for 2 - 4 years or something, but competent), before quitting because of the small community, and SC2 being announced (Warsow is dying). Thanks alot for reminding me :D
