A: I feel very happy. I'm pleased to have won a series of such interest, but I'm not so pleased with my performance. It made me want to show improved performances in my upcoming matches.
Q: Did your recent defeat against Bisu in the Proleague affect you?
A: No. I knew why I lost, and thought to myself not to make the mistakes I've made. So I was able to focus on today's matches.
Q: How were today's games?
A: I prepared a lot. During practice, my winning rates were very good, and I expected to win the series with ease. When I actually played the games on stage, there were games in which I ended up thinking "what an earth am I doing?". Some of the games were spontaneous and not practiced.
Q: You lost your first game.
A: I didn't mind whether I lose or win the first game. The outcome of the first game was decided quite early, but I kept playing to check Bisu's movements and this helped me win my confidence.
Q: You won your final game quite easily.
A: My style in general is never letting an opportunity like that pass by. Bisu's style is quite technical and does have weaknesses early on. Once I discovered that Bisu only had one gateway and had was expanding after I sneaked the zerglings in, I knew I had the game won.
Q: What was the biggest factor in your victory?
A: I tried paying attention to the little details. I also tried not to play timidly, and that paid off well. I think I won because of that.
Q: You didn't look too happy when you won.
A: I won the series, but I was ashamed. This time round, I only won because I was luckier. Also, the last game was anticlimatic and I wasn't overwhelmed with emotion.
Q: You often lose your first game in an important series.
A: I think losing the first match gives me a reason to try harder to win the other games. I focus on getting a measure of opposing player's condition, his movement and mind games.
Q: You're also rivals with Flash, who is the better opponent?
A: They're both very good players. I don't think there's much foundation to say one player is better than the other. Factors like a player's condition and prepared strategy that day plays a huge role. I just want to better than the other two, so I can be the best out of the three.
Q: Who is the best player out of the "Six Dragons"?
A: I've got to say Bisu. To be honest, I rarely lose to protoss during practice. To exaggerate slightly, I don't think I'm showing even 50% of my true capabilities on air. When I play with Bisu, I can tell he understands the zerg race very well, which is why he does well against zergs.
Q: Anything you want to say as the representative of the zerg race?
A: I'm one of the better performers out of the zerg, but I think there are a lot of great zergs who haven't yet been able to show their true potential on televised games. I'm not good enough to be the representative.
Q: Anything else you want to add?
A: I'm really focused on winning the Starleague. I've always done well in the Proleague, and I don't think having the most number of wins by the end of the season will be too much of a task if I keep my pace up. I felt a lot of things watching other players in the individual leagues while I faltered in the qualifying stages. The burning desire to win is coming back again and I don't want to let it slip this time.
Q: Any last comments for your fans?
A: Although I won my first BO5 against Bisu, I want to meet him again in other leagues and play to the standard that people expect from the series. I feel that we will be facing each other a lot in the future, and hope people have high expectations for it. I'm also happy to be named the best player of the Gom leagues.
