The daughter of Capt. Sullenberger actually goes to my school. You do know that that plane crash was not the pilot's fault, right? I doubt anything is going on with "pilots these days." It was the scourge birds.

Only a very very small percentage of commercial aviation accidents are due to pilot error. It's almost always caused by mechanical malfunction, usually due to crappy maintenance.

most of the planes that do crash, are not corporate airliners, nor do they crash in highly populated areas, and they crash safely. I.E. safe landings not making it on the landing strip, or single engine planes, private jets, etc...

there we 44 people on and a crew of 4....
unless one person snuck on. which made the plane overweight and caused it to crash
