SPOILER ALERT
Savior interview taken from Chinese translated version on wfbrood.com
I did this really quickly, and it has probably deviated quite a bit from the original interview as it has been translated twice.
Enjoy --
CJ is 3-0 since the beginning of WL, what are your thoughts?
My team is doing a great job since WL, it doesn’t matter who is on stage, we are all confident that he would win. Currently, the team is having a great atmosphere… As long as we keep it up, we’ll be victorious. --
You went 3-0 twice
I am very happy. Even though I won six games in two appearances, I won’t let that get to me (as in… he won’t practice less just because he won six games). I am still very far away from making up for my slump, this is far from enough. I guess I want to say, it hasn’t even begun for me. --
You won against all three races with management-style (better management?)
Like I mentioned before in previous interviews, I think I’ll be okay as long as the game develops into a standard game. Even though we were down 1-2, I was thinking to myself, “it won’t matter even if I lose this game”. I was playing very calmly and without pressure, and that mentality allowed me to perform normally (“practice performance”). --
Were there moments that you felt you were losing in your game against really?
I never thought I was ahead or behind even until the very end. After I successfully conquered really’s 7’ o’clock main, I knew I’d won. Today, I upgraded adrenalin really early (laugh). --
You repeatedly used drop against Sangho
I made a lot of lings in early game because I knew I would be able to deal a lot of damage. Afterwards, I knew I had a big advantage, so I decided to repeatedly use drop to finish him off, but I don’t think that worked well – it actually gave him opportunities to have a comeback, but luckily, I won in the end. --
Versus Hyvaa, you killed him with one attack
I used my most confident strategy, and it was exactly half of a step ahead of him. I was originally going to harass with my mutas, but I won. --
Did you want to play against upmagic?
I was hoping I would play against him, but maybe because of the maps, they sent SangHo. However, I believe, with my current form, I can beat him in MSL. --
First player win one game, then win three straight, is this the CJ strategy? (this is how they won all of their games)
I feel I am very strong in this format… if I can win one, I can play with less constraint and a better mentality. --
Next game is against wemade.
As long as kwanro can take the first game, I think we’ll win against them 100%. Even if he loses, we’ll still be able to win. I think my team is superior to wemade in every way~

Or he didn't mean it seriously and everyone blew it way out of proportion?
Not to mention these interviews are done for the Korean community, not people who went to Blizzcon.

Well, I guess we'll have to see if he says anything about it at this years Blizzcon.

Savior wins this MSL. And the next. And the next. And the next OSL (did he ever win an OSL? Can't remember...).

THx cambium. Now THAT"s the Savior we want to see, looks like he's getting some confidence back now with back to back sweeps.
|
I am very sure that if he continues to play how he is, and improves his multi-tasking just a WEE bit then we have one of the most dangerous zergs around, back on top.
I notice unlike jaedong, savior seems to always fool his opponent at least once.
I think jaedong is the greatest zerg ever, but I get the impression that savior knows how to fool opponents and get in their heads alot better.
2009, a year to rememeber!
