so after a recent conversation with a few friends, i turned out to be the only one who likes to sit in the front of the movie theater. everyone else said that it made the screen too big or it hurt their neck to look up at the screen. however, i dont mind the neck thing, and i personally like having the screen fill up my whole field of vision. it makes me feel like im immersed in the movie (from all sides).
just wondering tl's take:
Poll: where in the movie theater do you sit? (Vote): front (Vote): middle (Vote): back (Vote): wherever (Vote): dont go to the movies
also one friend brought up a good point in that, if theyre with a bigger group theyll sit in the back because theyll goof around. this is more of on your own, or with a smaller group. basically if you are going for the actual movie.

Middle: I sit in the seat directly behind where a wheelchair goes so that I have more legroom. Only problem is, if a wheelchair shows up I lose my legroom XD

middle or back. There is a reason why the front is empty when there isnt a full house.

actually thats another thing about the front. since no one sits there you can put your legs up on the seats in front or wherever. and front and back are like 7 or so rows, just to mak ethat clear to anyone.
and what exactly, is that reason?

Middle or back. I don't like the front. You gotta tilt your head up and the position is uncomfortable.

middle, jeez its been a loooooong time since i actually went to a movie theatre

Middle, easiest to see, most comfortable

middle (assuming you can also choose the height), as your fov covers the entire screen while maintaining your neck's most natural position.
|
Middleish, a bit more at front than back.
|
Middleish back, I hate fuckers that do shit in the back

Usually sit at the back, because whenever I don't...always get shivers because I think people are staring at me or something.
...I think I'm just paranoid though.

2nd row because no one likes the front, no one will sit there and i can put my feet up.

Middleish back, it's just a comfortable spot to view the movie straight-ahead without feeling like you are too far away in the back.

Wheelchair area aye? The 2 movie theaters in my area both don't have any specified wheelchair area. Never thought about that.

I despise theatres. You'd have to pay me to endure sitting through a movie in one of those.
