Stork vs F91:
Game 1:
Longinus
+ Show Spoiler +
Stork spawns in Purple in the 3-o-clock position.
F91 starts up his creep in the 7-o-clock position and using his mental map hacks sends his overlord right over to stork.
F91 deftly deflects all forms of probe harassment..
Stork plants his pylon at his natural expansion to prepare for a fast expand. Upon scouting a 12-hatch from his opponent he follows up with a nexus, forge, gateway then cannon as F91 gets his spawning pool and third hatch at his mineral only.
The scouting probe finally picked off, F91 plants a hydralisk den followed shortly by a second hydralisk den going for fast speed and range upgrades!
Stork’s stargate is making his first corsair his is templar archives warps in and he adds gateways.
The corsair arrives in F91’s base and Storks adds cannons but a lot of hydras are at his wall hammering on the gateway!
Then the cannons, probes off the line to help fight, the zealots go down, the cannons go down! Now the probes are taking it!
F91 targets the natural nexus with three dark templar approaching his hydras.
Ignoring them, F91 moves into the main to snipe off the main nexus.
And Oh My God he gets it!!!! But all of his hydras were killed and Stork has just enough to remake his Nexus.
Now is the time for Stork to make the most amazing comeback ever.
He has a few corsairs and a few dark templar but they can’t break the natural choke of F91 and Stork GG’s.
A straight forward 3-hatch hydras break very well executed by F91 to take the first game of this Bo3. However, he got supply blocked at 18, and had about 400 minerals in the bank! He must have been nervous. Also, his second overlord scouted to the NW, possibly to hide from corsairs? Not really sure why he sent it up there. Great game though, very exciting. Should I make the images smaller if I do another one?
I'll probably do the other games, but a little later.
So, you know...I did the first one and was thinking: "Hey, this isn't so hard!" Then I realised that the first game was only 7 minutes. Here is game two~!
Game 2:
Monty Hall
+ Show Spoiler +
Stork spawns again in purple in the NW position,
And here in the SE we have the teal zerg F91.
F91 begins to mine through both the top and the bottom mineral patches to get out of his main.
Stork glitches a probe out along the top and places a pylon in preparation for a fast expansion.
F19 gets his pool first and then expands along the east side of the map,
and takes out the scouting probe, which had pylon jumped through the minerals.
Forge, 2 cannons, then nexus and gateway for Stork, but no early aggression from the zerg.
A quick lair for the zerg followed by a third hatchery in his main.
Stork adds stargate, gets 4 gates goings and prepares a zealot push.
F91 spwans hydralisk den, and spire. He masses up some hydras to fend off the protoss.
Seeing the hyras, Stork backs off wisely. He prepares high templar to make his next attack more successful.
F91 takes this chance to set up an expansion in the middle lane (and gets supply blocked at 60) while scourge and hydras fend off Stork’s scouting corsair.
Mass gates with zealots and templar for the protoss and 5-hatch hydra-lurk for the zerg heading into the mid game.
Stork pushes and is fended off but surrounds and finishes a piece of the zerg army with a nice storm and morphs an archon.
Lurkers push his mass of zealots back.
F91 sets up an expansion in the middle and fends off some dark templar harassment.
Meanwhile F91 shuts down Stork’s attempt at an expo in the bottom lane with a few hydras. Stork secures the expo but F91 expands along the bottom as well to stay on good economic footing.
The two armies clash in the middle aisle!
Nice micro by F91 but the protoss army is too strong and Stork claims many lurkers.
F91 retreats and reengages and this time manages to clean up the rest of the protoss army with some nice observer snipes lending a hand. Both players reenforce and reengage.
Stork’s army is commanding but held back by lurkers.
Meanwhile F91 tries to be cute with some lurkers but nets almost no damage to the protoss and Stork expands again, along the middle path this time.
Hive is now up for the zerg, defilers are out and ultralisks are on their way, but during the transition Stork pushes into F91’s expansion dealing a lot of damage though not killing the hatchery due to a nice reinforcement drop by F91! However, protoss is in a very solid position and expands to a second base along the bottom path.
To respond, the zerg takes the expansion on the high group in the NE corner of the map and goes for a raid on the protoss middle expansion with dark swarm. However, he does little economic damage
and Stork gets off a nice storm drop killing several drones.
Even ultralisks are no match for the very powerful protoss army.
However with dark swarm the zerg is holding his own – for now.
Stork prepares for a game ending push. He masses his army in the bottom lane while the zerg’s forces are still in the middle of the map.
Stork crashes through the zerg’s bottom expansion as the zerg is trying to replace lost drones.
F91 splits his forces: half to defend and half to counter Stork’s middle expansion but when Stork’s army backs off and his counter fails he GGs!
Great game, very exciting! F91 played well but his macro slipped at times throughout the game and he just couldn’t keep up with the protoss expansions or do any successful harassment. Stork’s safe play payed off in this one.
I feel like I'm making up for my shotty writing skills with lots of pretty pictures xD
Hope its alright
Game 3:
Python
+ Show Spoiler +
Stork warps in at the 6-o-clock position for the final game against F91.
F91 looking to take out the commander in cheif sets up his base at the 3-o-clock position and naturally scouts to the north with his overlord.
F91's 12-hatch gets offset due to Stork's probe harassment and pylon, which he soon cancels.
Stork responds with pylon, nexus, gateway, forge.
F91 gets his pool next and starts with his zergling production while getting gas. He puts down a third hatchery to fix of mining at his natural and starts massing up a lot of zerglings hiding them in his main until he is ready to strike!
He STRIKES!!!
He fails....
But his spire is on the way!
to fend off Stork's +1 speed zealot rush.
Stork STRIKES!!!
F91 counteers with his mutalisks!
Stork loses his main nexus but not too much else while F91 loses his spire and spawning pool.
Stork gets the mutalisks away from his main and pushes into F91's natural just before the sunkens morph.
F91's mutalisks attempt to pick off a few of Stork's units but get caught by an archon and F91 GGs.
Stork wins 2-1.
