Suppose you are inhumanly better playing one race because it fits your style very well and you know the mechanics extremely good, yet you have always found it to be rather boring or unappealing, but still you are a BEAST with it and feel like you can rape everything on sight when you get on that chair and play.
But on the other hand you love this other race SOO MUCH! You have always found it impressive, rewarding and you just seem like you can\'t get enough of them! But you suck major balls at it even though you\'ve played them for a while too.
If you ever have had this dilemma, how have you confronted it?
I need help.

I switched over to the race I love more and after much time, has played it better than the first. Well I was never "BEAST" at Terran, but I am so much better now with zerg than I ever was with T.
What do you play now and what do you want to switch to?
|
exactly the same as you
|
Hmm, choose the race you enjoy playing the most, a game is meant to be fun, not boring!
|
But the power level of my terran is lightyears above that of my zerg's =( but I just don't find terran appealing at all... never have -.-

Get over yourself, everyone is that good with Protoss...

play with what makes you the most happy. if your better skill with the race you like less makes you happier, then stick with it, else take the race you like soo much

Exactly what I was thinking chill

There's no one on this earth which hates protoss better than i do...

So you're a Protoss trying to switch to Terran. It's called waking up

I was playing Terran all the time and then I realized how much I hated mnm. It seemed so stupid. The only thing I actually liked about them was the tanks. I liked Zerg so much better while I couldn't even pull off a simple 12 hatch 11 pool.
I kept playing Zerg, and I got better, and passed my T very quickly.

^ When an admin say it it's hilarious, when a normal member say it they get flamed. Thats just how TL works

Haven't had this problem with Starcraft... Always loved/beenbest with Terran.
I did have this issue with Warcraft III. I loved Orc and always played Orc, but after Grubby (or whoever else you think should be credited) re-invented Orc play, my old school Orc play sucked. So I kept playing Orc in the old style, and wasn't nearly as good as I was with Human or Undead. I kept playing Orc though, because I had much more fun. Play what's fun to you, and you'll naturally get better with them, because you'll be more likely to practice more.

Switch to Zerg. It's much more fun than the lame races. It's exciting.

Because members tend to just spout something like "1a2a3a" and think they're the shit and that they're hillarious.

I've had every race as a main for a few years each. Every time I switch I get better than before, even though I play less and less. So "obviously" the only explanation is that T > Z > P in terms of difficulty.
