If he looses it really doesn't fucking matter.
It basically means he lost a tournament. Woopdidoo
No one outside of Greg's coaches and Greg himself can decide if he belongs in Korea. Whether he will "make it" as you so vaguely call it, is yet to be determined I suppose. IMO since he is there right now, he has "made it" in my eyes. But that isn't good enough for little idiot kids like you.
Why you guys put so much pressure on him to win every single little thing. Your being retarded acting like since IdrA went to Korea he should never ever loose to a foreigner and if he does, he is failing in Korea and doesn't belong there. Let me note that when Legionnaire was in Korea, he was still loosing to guys like fucking Anon in various little foreign tourneys & show matches. And Leg was still the shit and took out almost every top tier Korean Terran (boxer xellos etc..) on TV including an all-kill in Proleague.
So I say again, if IdrA looses US Finals, it won't fucking matter because he is still the right person to be there. Do you know how I know that? Cuss hes still fucking there. If he wasn't good enough he wouldn't still be there. If he has an off day and looses US Finals. Who gives a shit. It will suck because I want to see Greg do well in everything he plays in but it's not a failure of epic proportions as you so casually imply.
As for you pokerface. Just for making that post...

Idra clearly doesn't play like a stone cold killer. His gomtv games showed that. Also he plays terran. It's very easy to lose vs a less mechanically skilled player. He knows that. Sure, pressure is all on him and he should definitely win. And yeah, he needs to learn how to handle that. But when he doesn't win this that doesn't mean at all he is failing in Korea or something. It he loses because of tactics/cheese/game sense that again confirms his weakness there, which he needs to overcome. If t's because of nerves then it shows he needs to improve there and just win like some players can.
Is there some scedule for the broadcass?

Thank your very much g5 ^^ I was just wondering ur opinions...I ment no offense to him,and i really really root for him to do well and "make it" in korea.U had the wrong idea.Chill the fuck down

A lot of people have really high expectations for Idra since he's the only foreigner in Korea right now. The reality is that the average progamer (if one even makes it that far), doesn't win a star league or dominate in team league because they are just that - average.
We can hope that Idra becomes an S-class progamer, but to expect that of him is ridiculous. But people aren't gonna shut up about it unless he does. If he gets televised matches and does decently then that is a lot of success already.

That's odd since, from your previous post, you seem to be ready to abandon all hope in him if he loses WCG USA.

Thats right! Here is my dilemma:If he not capable of winning wcg usa how can we expect him to be an S class progamer? Well deep down i know hes not gonna be an s class. One televised game would be enough for me ^^.

Cause shit doesn't happen overnight?
And did you even read my post? I said that we shouldn't expect him to be S class.

I guess we should wait the end of USA wcg and start this discussion over again

Really tournament just shows how well person might of been prepared or the luck of the brackets sometimes. Best player or whoever considered the best player wins everything, even in korea. Why they have Kespa rankings. Kespa is suppose try determine who best player is at that time or month. Normally of course better skilled player always favored. If they always won no one would watch though .
Idra said he hasn't been able practicing the maps hardly at all (I might be wrong). I bet you 100% all USA gamers going are preparing builds vs him.
Anyone would thinks person going be better or more skilled than them will try to prepare a build vs their style to try gain advantage early game. some people might not go through all that but i know top contenders will be preparing builds vs each other.
Why i think this will be one of the most exciting WCG compare to the other countries. I think this will great.
Good Luck to all the players in it. Anyone find out who unknown person is?

I don't know why you feel obligated to lower expectations for Idra. Idra himself has been saying repeatedly that he should be the overwhelming favorite and I certainly get the sense that he would be very disappointed in himself if he lost. Whining about haters putting pressure on him is just pathetic. If he handles pressure like you're handling it for him, then he should indeed get out of Korea. Luckily he hasn't been unnecessarily lowering expectations just to avoid disappointing himself and others. He can prove all the haters wrong by winning. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

G5 I cannot agree that if he just loses the tournament it’s a “whoopdidoo”. He has been training for 12 hours a day in Korea for many months against progamers and has the ideal practice scenarios lately and it would be embarrassing if he lost to someone that has been fortunate to have the same training environment. Now, this does not mean he doesn’t belong in Korea but I do think that if he loses it means he’s not all the way there yet mentally. He mechanically is the best player in the USA and is top seven foreigners and there is no reason realistically that he should lose this but if for some reason he does, he shouldn’t look as all is lost. Sadly since he is a foreigner in Korea, he is representing the world outside of Korea and there is a lot on his shoulders. So he will be expected to win almost every foreigner event he plays in, I don’t think that there would be any less pressure to be on a T.V. game so this is nothing out of the ordinary for what he has in store for his future. He had to know all of this was going to happen before he went over there and he can’t expect to win them all despite of what the community expects. It is not up to us to decide whether he stays in Korea or not so he should just not listen to all the “media” hype and focus on being the best tiger terran he can be.
So in a nutshell would it be a huge disappointment if he doesn’t win WCG USA : Yes Would it be detrimental to his career in Korea: Not at all

Drama drama just enjoy the tourny.....please.

All the other players, be sure to get there early if you want event passes for friends. Gotta grab them before all the FPS homos do ~~

October 2-5. Only 1 player goes to Germany for the Grand Final. Thats harsh. On a large country and only 1 representative? Korea gets 3 representative every year.

He won't "loose" G5. Even if he doesn't win, he just loses (sry, had to).
I'm rooting for Bryce / Geoff, obviously

It's all about sponsoring the tickets, every country can send three players should they want to.
In Korea they (obviously) have no trouble finding sponsors for three players, winning every year doesn't hurt either.

i really do hope by some miracle we get to send 3 players instead of 1. We really have potential this year and without a doubt have 3 very capable sc players.
