Which is why, of course, that Trump is doing better with ethnic minorities than every other Republican candidate of the last 40 years or more. The absolute hatred he shows them, compels them to go out and vote for him. What a genius. Some proof of Trump's appeal to minorities: CNN has him winning Latinos in Michigan by 25 points. It's that ole' Florida interview back around ~2019 all over again where we get that one person crying, "He's not hurting the right people!" A true "what did you THINK was going to happen?" situation.

Nothing a little electoralism can't fix. Trump, the Republican Senate, and probably Republican House may not let Dems win very much though after destroying democracy.

Hahahahahahahaha Dude, you go on and on about how voting for a Democrat for President is evil. Then when Trump wins, you say he is going to destroy democracy. Pick one.

Now his first act will be to raise taxes on workers. But given the man has never worked a day in his life I doubt he'll care. And he'll probably just defer it another 8 years by running up massive deficits. Nobody ever questioned his deficits before now.

The only way they could balance the tax cuts on the rich in the TCJA is by writing in tax increases on the working and middle class scheduled for 2025. That gave the budget office what they needed to declare it revenue neutral over the long term. Trump was assuming he'd win 2020, be out by Jan 2025, and then Democrats would be blamed for his tax increases. Now his first act will be to raise taxes on workers. Yes, one thing I noted here before is that whoever is in charge the next few years has a massive money problem to deal with. making hard choices will just make 2026 worse. So the GOP should just go all in. Go 1947-49 on them and take what comes after.
