Might be a bit of bias but you cant forget that germany should play with 10 guys for about 85 minutes, this is a fair result.

They sure didn't communicate it well at any point, but it was close enough that I couldn't call it from the replay. This is the correct answer. Fulk did 2 things wrong on the first air dispute. One he looked offside and second he too looked like he handballed on the dispute that lead to the shot and then a clear handball by sideshow bob. Actually Fulk did 3 things wrong, missing that header :/ Still deserved by Spain.

I haven't felt sad for a German loss since like 2018, the "Mannschaft" was so unlikeable at times. But this time I am actually sad. It feels now we finally have a team again. They won me over. The tournament probably was two years too early for them (despite the average age of the players is kind of high, I believe I read that somewhere). They missed a lot of very good chances in this game and a championship team just makes one or two more goals in this game. In the end, you get punished for this by actual championship teams, and that kind of happened with the last goal. The handball though... I absolutely cannot believe that he did not even look at this. So many horrible penalties for really stupid handballs that don't really do anything... but this one is a shot on target and the arm is not even close to the body. That is just bonkers. If that was indeed a correct call, the technicalities of this rule are just stupid. Spain indeed looks vulnerable and beatable. On a sidenote: there is some people with horrible posts in this thread. It was a blast following what most of you wrote, but man, there is some exceptions.
