There’s pretty much a guarantee of a similar wage with Man City if he wants it I’d imagine. Hey it’s his life! I’d love to see a few more top Europeans do what Clarence Seedorf did and give South America a shot, albeit a big reason he did that was having a Brazilian wife. Perhaps I’m just too innately hostile to Saudi Arabia to be objective on tangential topics :p

While City could probably afford it, they maybe don't want to set that precedent, or maybe they just don't think KdB is actually worth N times more than what they're already paying him.

Oh I mean a similar wage packet at City to what they’re currently paying him. Yeah they probably can’t/won’t match the top end of Saudi wages

City also doesnt give older players long contracts IIRC. Didnt they lose quite a few players because they were not willing to give longer contracts?

But a natural replacement for Salah at RW which is a position we're a bit light in (Harvey, Szobo, and Diaz can all put a shift in there but it's not ideal).

there's also the impending 115 cases against city which may expedite his departure (along with others looking to leave)

Who am I kidding? The FA won't have the balls to do what needs to be done.

Argentina vs Morocco, Argentina score a last minute equalizer, then fireworks go off from a protestor/pitch invader near their bench. They think FT happened but apparently officials reviewed the equalizer for offsides, so they had to go back out and play another 3 minutes. Morocco win 2-1. Lol. I'm surprised it got that far without Argentina being booed off the field of play. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Argentina channeled their inner Nunez for that entire sequence hitting the woodwork over and over again. Definitely an incredible sequence, only for the actual goal to be called off.

Can't really imagine a more insane ending tbh, seriously.. glad Morocco won in the end.
