Must be because their vids on Youtube get 100K-200K everyday so it's a good amount of money - seems like they're chilling and not caring about being competetive so much. Sad... larva actually joined JSU team. and yeah they upload two videos per day that each get 100k-250k views They make good money off of quite low effort content

Britney and Sea are the main ones botting on Afreeca. Last and Larva aren't getting 100,000+ real views on each YouTube video. Best streamer is LancerX.

Are you inferring that the 1000 or under viewership streams are viewbotted? Also as for the afreeca/YT ones you mentioned in the second part, how is 100k unreasonable? If ASL S15 videos with tastosis casting are at 100k, but there are several sources for that video (meaning far greater interest especially on the korean VODs maybe) why would it be impossible for those people to have 100k views? Though I don't know their content I wouldn't say that 100k screams botting, whereas if you said a million I'd agree easily.

He is not a popular streamer, but his videos get over 100,000 views in less than a day.

Where is the fun in puttin 10000 hours of gaming to beat low skill players. I support the competitve aspect and the grind to become a better player. That is what i enjoy. Oh come on, who didn't smile when FBH went on TV and said, "People like to watch the pro players and imagine it is them playing, that they could do this. With this single vulture I will make sure he knows he could never do what we do." :D

Adding oli_patrick 100+, Stevejung and doejuly 50-100, Leerak and 80smullet 25-50. Does it matter? Not really, but people who don't viewbot can't compete with the ones who jump to the top of the list every day. Give those 1-5 viewer streams a chance. Why anyone is trying to make a living off streaming StarCraft to 25 viewbots and 25 real viewers in 2024 remains a mystery.

hero is one of the few that actually seems to play but then again just might be when I tune in. I like watching the best possible player but is very difficult to find for BW. Spoiled by Happy in Warcraft 3 where he just grinds nonstop. He'll play the most brutal 25-30 minute game then queue up again right after the second he's able to.

Fastest streamers get almost all their stream views from youtube. for example shin livestream views: https://youtube.com/channel/UC-okJdotaXPlzivRzHFqzuA?si=bPGsoJhYi2fuVr8o

Why anyone is trying to make a living off streaming StarCraft to 25 viewbots and 25 real viewers in 2024 remains a mystery. How do you know people viewbot tho ? Oli_pratick is the biggest content creator in latin america. he has 86 000 followers on facebook only. https://www.facebook.com/olipatrickbo/?locale=es_LA Stevejung is pretty known in Artosis circle ( Artosis raided him a lot when he was still in Korea. And nowadays tasteless raid him too) and i believe he is the guy doing subs for the ASL Patreon. So him being in the 70 viewers range is not really fishing. + if you watch his stream for a bit he has an engaging stream and people enjoy his content. Doejuly idk who that is. 80smullet i imagine he getting to 50 viewers by getting raid by other streams. Gypsy pretty popular around NA people. Jaeyun pretty popular around NA people. Popularity huge boosted by the release of SC remastered and the Lans they did with Artosis Tasteless day9 incontrol etc. Dewalt most active player in the scene for years.Even if he speak only russian people like his skills ? Bonyth same boat than dewalt but he speak english so all the protoss fans can fully enjoy his stream. Lancer quit streaming for a long time. He used to be in the 40-50 range viewers but his inactiveness over the years didnt help and now Dewalt is way more popular than him. At the end of the day the starcraft twitch page is very small.People watch who they wanna watch or they watch the only streamer that is on at the time. Im not sure how using 25 bots is going to help you to get more viewers. If bots were used in the starcraft community i image that mf of terror would have been using them by now LMAO but he is not even as popular as gypsy even if he acomplished more in the starcraft scene. I image personality is what matter the most and not even the time put in. Personally i think the best streamer is my boe Sugo. Good looking. Good personality. Always answer the chat while playing.Always positive. Never get tilted or frustated with viewers. Sugo is the goat of streaming but he rarely does. Follow him for the next stream. https://www.twitch.tv/sugobw

Huge streamers like Britney and Sea dominate Korean Afreeca scene and viewer discussions on dedicated forums like dcinside/fmkorea. They certainly are not botting lol. Last has like 600k+ subs and gets 100k+ views on his videos. He has mass appeal. Why am I even there lol, I'm just putting on stream for feedback from TT1 when he looks at vod. I know that many of these players stream on YouTube, and you can check when people have been raided or not. Those are popular players, but that doesn't mean they aren't botting also. I watch Twitch, YouTube, and Afreeca at various hours including the morning and middle of the night. I'm very aware of who every streamer I listed is. I've watched them for hours and checked their streaming statistics. Jinjin, those inflated YouTube view numbers show the opposite of what you think, and you can see the most popular streamers start their streams with hundreds of viewers before they begin streaming. (Not coming from another streaming website.) Eon, I didn't say that LancerX view botted. I said he's the best streamer imo, and I never mentioned Bonyth, but he's the real GOAT. Sugo is really good, but he's rarely online like you said. Plenty of the streamers who I believe bot are great too. Anyway, I'm not here to convince anyone. Just putting it out there so people can decide for themselves and maybe give other streamers a chance too. I saw one of the CPL casters doing a great job with only 3 viewers for example.

He's much bigger than you give him credit for, not to mention chat activity and donations are up there too. last dominates youtube landscape and he's only real BW streamer u can say that public watches on subway. He's pretty damn widespread and got stranglehold on the trollgame/casual viewership. There's reason why as soon as he left for army, there was huge scramble to overtake that trollgame/casual viewership pie with half of BW pros trying to set up youtube channel for it, and Larva won that out and now he has 300k+ youtube subs on his trollgame channel

Last has 100 videos over a million views. Shin has 39 videos over a million views. Larva has 30 videos over a million views. Flash has 18 videos over a million views. Last is legitimately a big content creator. Also, Last gets the majority of his livestream views on youtube, not on afreeca. So your data is flawed to begin with. To get this many views on a livestream you have to be at 7000-10000 concurrent viewers for almost the entire stream.
