Thanks so much. Excellent stuff.
Don't suppose anyone knows if there would be a problem recasting these with English commentary?
|
Given the sheer amount of games everyday, I doubt there will ever be English casting of this. For me I just watch the VODs when I can and enjoy some epic games.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe Artosis gets replays from Scan from moonlight proleague and has done recasting in English for his YT channel after the fact

If you wanna cast from a stream/VOD, you should apporach the creator for permission first.

JD playing a great game against Mind atm Always a pleasure to see a late game hydra/lurk combo vs terran

major proleague ridiculously high funding - 32100 star balloons per winner (very roughly $3,210) with another 10000 if anyone does an all-kill
of course this means my boy Sharp's tendency to choke hard is showing - this guy admits that he gets too excited and nervous in big spots
makes him frustrating to root for overall, but once in awhile he breaks out in entertaining ways on the big stage (e.g. KCM offline finals v Protoss, major proleague all-kill)

Yeah, he had a rough game against Rush and Soma in 1st set. I like Sharp too, but it's very hard to watch him turn to complete potato sometimes.

Wait...what? Think I saw 3만개 and just assumed it's the total for 4 players which seems reasonable. What was the occasion today that led to the big funding?

Soma's viewer gave 16000 per winner
well-known bigtime donor "52Bang" gave both Sharp and Rush 5300 per winner (and also put up the 10000 for all-kill)

Yea this guy is disappointment waiting to happen, I hope to be proven wrong but he just never seems to come up big when it really counts
It's a shame because when he's on top of his game, he can literally beat anyone but he can also lose pitifully to anyone also lmfao - gameplay level is like rolling dice (Shuttle has a similar reputation amongst Korean viewers)
I remember this fascinating discussion where Sharp was recounting how playing too excited and emotionally caused him to throw a lot of big games, and he said that Terran is not a race you can get away with doing that. Sharp said ideally a Terran should be like Last - very calm, collected, calculating, machine-like (like AlphaGo) - very interesting take.

Major Proleague today just hit an insane amount of prize pool. Almost 5000$ per winner. BO9 instead of the usual BO7. The stakes are unprecedentedly high. Which one will choke? Tune in to find out.

Damn, that means that they crowdfunded 25 thousand dollars in a single day?? Crazy!

Looks like a certain team is about to choke away a huge advantage.... and a known choker is drawn for the ace match...

sometimes I wonder how different his path would have been if he had a coach and a sports psychologist to sort out his bad habits and mentality issues
he already has fast hands, good reaction time (mini map monster) and maintains focus thru the late game but just too prone to early game mistakes and throwing/choking
Edit: add ridiculously weak against mutalisks (but now I feel bad for him losing yet again)
