Sometimes I feel like the main character of Flowers for Algernon. These people are not my friends, and I can barely tell, but I can't help sticking around because they seem so friendly.

Who insulted you? Do you not remember the old games? I thought insulting was mainstream around here. Me and marv looked like mortal enemies until we had a chat. Posts are cursed

I thought people got less sensitive with age tbf, but feeling too powerful allows you to wind down your tolerance level

Posts are cursed Whoops I am talking about people here in Los Angeles, I did not know GoT was popular with the TL community in general or the Mafia community in particular. My bad, to clarify these are people I meet face to face with pretty regularly who nicely, smilingly, guilt me for being born "white", whatever that means (I am more brown than most of them, so they can't be speaking literally).

It‘s advantageous how being behind an account suddenly makes people more equal. You just don‘t think about skin color when all you have is text, unless someone brings it up. I just can‘t stop being astonished at how salient this issue is for you Americans. But maybe it‘s a consequence of the sheer amount of people.

But I'm from the South and they are too.

I just compare Austrian and Italians and presume it’s true because I know both well. Slavs also have their own identity, some don’t like Hungarians etc It’s more about how you learn to deal with the differences than crusading that there can‘t be any

Tbqh for an Euro it looks like in the US you like to go crazy over a lot of things judging by the news Here‘s an uncomfortable fact to think about: The thing that happened to Floyd happened in Austria too many years ago to a Senegalese man iirc. And I don‘t recall that leading to worldwide rioting (outrage yes, but not in this magnitude) That could tell you how on edge the different societies are for the rules they have to live under or whatever else

Some speculate that they were paid actors (there is footage of one said actors getting paid on camera). I could say more, but that would require me showing lots of videos. If you haven't heard, there are two Americas in the US.

Moving is not a bad idea when everyone around you can‘t stop arguing instead of getting along and sometimes having to swallow a bitter pill to preserve the peace (had to make some experiences in this regard) Not moving to NA even for a billion. Was nice to visit but the climate makes you sweat in two ways.
