Best chance for Rest of the world are obviously Serral, Clem and Reynor, but Korea has Dark, Rogue, Zest, Maru, Trap who all have a great shot of winning as well, so it's hard to predict right away without the bracket.

Of the foreigners in their forms we've seen recently, I think Serral is the only one with a real competitive shot at it. So feeling KR pretty strongly for this year.

My list of likely winners are 1. Rogue 2. Serral 3. Maru 4. Dark 5. Trap 6. Reynor 7. Zest Long shot 8 (as in I do not truly believe, although...) herO I think there is a noticeable difference between top 3 and the rest. Rogue lives on old merits of topping his form to perform in high stakes matches. Maru looks better than both Serral and Rogue, but he often loses in some surprising way in the biggest tournaments. Serral has a very, very high floor to contrast Rogue's ridiculous ceiling. I hope that Clem can regain his form from first half of this year of ESL. That would put him in the middle of that list.

I think Maru starts as a clear favourite, the only question mark being his traditional weak(er) performances at tournaments he has to travel to. I would put Dark and Rogue as the next biggest contenders, followed by Serral and Zest.

The other 25% are divided among players like Zest, Trap, Dark, Reynor and a few minor underdogs I think Zest + Dark have more than 25% and I wouldn't favor Serral that much this time due to his recently poor ZvZ which will most likely be a deciding matchup

A) Korea B) Europe C) Rest And that alone Shows, that Korea is way stronger this year compared to the last one. My pick is pretty boring one, Maru, Rouge, Serral are the favorites

Maru has overall been the best player since last Katowice but it's a big international tournament and Zerg win those.

But I'm going to irrationally say that you're wrong, and Maru is gonna win this one. So there.

Normally I would put Cure over Reynor but Reynor definitely has that clutch factor and he could make a big form comeback here

But because the groups are stupid, there's a good chance Reynor doesn't even make it out of Group D. Therefor my favorites are. Maru Dark Rogue Serral Reynor Clem In that order. I don't understand this: If the groups were different, Reynor would probably still have to play against at least one of those 2 to win. So either he advances his group and wins this thing or he doesn't and would have never had a shot anyway.
