So hockey's pretty big in Canada, eh. Every Saturday, the most popular live hockey program, Hockey Night in Canada, gets broadcast.
Now, along with great production value and entertaining personalities like Ron McLean and Don Cherry, Hockey Night in Canada had an epic theme song. I bet every Canadian knows it. Dundun duh duh da DUH DUH! There's many versions of the song as it's been updated throughout the years. Here's the more recent version:

Anyways I forget the exact details, and for the purpose of this it's not important. CBC lost the rights of the song to another Canadian broadcaster, so Hockey Night in Canada needs a new theme song.
