In an anticlimating eruption of events Cryoc wins the spot with ... $110. Meanwhile, Bakuryu does the nEMO. Cryoc has 24 hours to pay up, date of the challenge is to be announced.
The winner of the challenge will move on to Moscow, as the deadline for qualification approaches rapidly.
Other donations are welcome. If you want to combine donation and stupid request (e.g. set the first map for the challenge), I'm always open for ideas.

Not surprising one of the guys had a light bulb moment with some common sense. I think you should focus more on Gecko and being a better extortionist and not on nEMO who donated 45$ in total already for fun...

im pretty sure if you contribute 5k $ to the prizepool the bidding will not be need.do you realize most of the contributions are cooming from challenges ? calling it retarded is not right call.
I agree that for qualified players is not really something positive.but at the same time im pretty sure any player will prefer to have a new edition next year.and who knows if the rules are going to improve.
In a perfect world we will have countless support for tournaments like this. The community more involved instead of only looking to the korean one etc.But is not really the case.
So it is better to appreciate what do we have and not b*tch on it all the time.

I was going to explain the benefits of our challenge system, but eon already said it all.
I wanna add that all challengers and challenged players enjoyed the challenges.

What do you mean? The winner of the spot flies to Russia. There is no challenge System for the ladder quota, if thats your question.

I just want to drop by to say thank you to Oya. About ten years ago as a young Protoss while I was still getting into 1v1 on iccup I watched a replay pack of his from which I've learned quite a lot (some really nice cheeses as well). Left such a big impression on me how he was obliterating top players like it was nothing. Very strong favour in my eyes if he is in shape. Good luck to both!
