RIP you beautiful man. You deserved better in many aspects of life, but you brought more joy to people in a few years then most people can in multiple lifetimes.
Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson has passed away - Page 50

From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today.

Sadly this will never happen. Probably I should go nonetheless and spread Geoff-remembrance-pasta for everyone

I joined TL during WoL beta and InControl was a big community figure already. Feels like I watched him grow up as he went to Korea, came back, founded NASL, branched out to roll play, competitive Warhammer, ect. I haven't been part of TL / the SC2 scene or even gaming in general much lately, but even so hearing about Geoff just really hit me. Time really flies, he accomplished a lot in the time I knew about him, but yet it still feels so short.

I haven't been on Team liquid for years, but i heard the news and couldn't think of a better place to give my condolences. This hit harder than I would have thouught. I hope that his family and close friends take good care of themselves.

Don't even know how to process it. like some people here have mentioned, i watched the VoD of Day9's stream last night and it really hit me then. it was, for the most part, not fun at all to watch that, despite the hilarious Geoff clips he played, but i think it was good for me that i watched that. active grieving is important, i've unfortunately had the chance to learn that over the years. i recommend it to anyone Geoff meant something to. there's a Warhammer 40K shop at a mall really close to my place. i walked past it yesterday and wondered if the people that work there know who Geoff Robinson is and what happened. i thought about going in there and asking them for a moment but decided against it. maybe i should go.

Everyone coming together and reminiscing all the good stuff Geoff left for us really helped me think more about how blessed we've been to have had him rather than being sad that he's gone. Sometimes sadness still comes back when I am hit again with the fact that he's gone, but It helped me make peace with the tragedy a bit and to try to be kinder with people in my life
