well, for past few days, my comp is acting wierd. for example, computer is TURNING ON BY ITSELF. i wake up and comp is on -_-;; also randomly computer shut off menu screen comes up.

i dont know if this has to with someone remotely controlling my comp, or spywares acting up, someone give some light on this matter.

btw, i ran ad-award and superantispyware for just in case, but nothing showed up. and comp is about 5 years old so is it possible that components getting deterioring?

anyways thx in advance.

you can set your comp to turn on at a certain time, using the BIOS settings. Try looking into that. Maybe someone is just messing with you.

i suggest format your computer for a clean install of windows xp and then install the latest kaspersky antivirus or AVG free from download.com if you dont want to buy kaspersky.

mmm there is some fonction in some bios to wake up on lan, it may be that...
I never looked into it though, so I have no idea how it work ...
