A lot has changed! I haven't updated my blog in years, but I never stopped cooking:
I also go on a lot of food-related adventures. People who happen to follow me on Instagram or Twitter have seen my gratuitous amounts of food photos. I APOLOGIZE FOR NOTHING.
This was suppose to be spicy ramen... T____T I can't feel spice anymore. pls help.
I still tune into watching SC2. I was at BlizzCon this year. Maybe you saw me on stream during the finals? :')
I've gone through 3 different job changes too. I'm actually starting at a new company next week in an actual esports role.
When I first came to TL to learn new SC2 strategies and talk esports gossip, never in my mind would I have imagined talking about joining TL in any sort of company interview. Throughout my 5 round process -- speaking with 12 different people -- I got asked the same question: "how'd you get into esports? and why do you like it?" and I always gave the same answer:
"It started when I first playing StarCraft, I joined this site called Team Liquid. People were super nice and helped me learn. I made a lot of friends through it and the esports community was incredibly welcoming to me. I always wanted to give back and help the scene grow; so I started volunteering for tournament organizations (CSL)."
So thank you, TL for being this amazing community that helped me grow as a player/gamer, meet awesome new people, and post my stupid little food blogs here. You're all lovely.
never met you yet Kierpanda but same story in TL with SC2, a passion for esports, worked with CSL and working to something esports industry related. Keep it up!
