His second game was a 2-1 timing push? And in game 1 he was ahead for a long time but Bisu got back into the game slowly but surely until they were even. But yeah, he played better than expected. Pretty awesome series overall.
//Also John and FlashFTW, if you are reading this: You are doing a good job. You've got great chemistry and I'm really enjoying your cast.

His micro games where pretty unimpresive.
These games yes but in ro16 he held a very high level. And His stats are like over 80% on fish vs top players.
Idegelchik did u watch those? He's up and down but strong when he's focused. He said that loosing the first game threw him off, which isn't an excuse, rather the problem cuz he needs to focus and flow, not get thrown off if he's gonna have a chance against Flash in the finals yep Flash vs bisu finals fuck yeah!
If Bisu plays as he did against Sea we've got a beautiful final to look forward to. If Bisu wins the first game, gets his groove on, dtays focused, isn't thrown off, has prepared smartly enough he might just have a chance at only loosing 3-2.
The first game would throw off most players, lead to mistakes. forgetting to land a barracks was very bad but noone can fall back on 100% practiced timings or do what they planned when the game starts like that. So they were really tested there, Ssak impressed me a lot. Flash probably wouldnt forget his rax but he'd probably make smaller unusual mistakes. So I wouldn't go too harsh on them in that game except for the barracks.
I hope they keep outsider in the map pool next season. Very interesting games here, it's not figured out yet it seems.

What?
His dragoon micro in game 3 (or was it 2) was a thing of beauty. My heart was racing and I was squeeling like a fangirl on coke with how beautifully he controlled his dragoons and destroyed ssak.
While his dragoon play was very nice indeed, there's some events that do top that.
Note that while he does have an observer, he's under so much pressure from actual units that this basically doesn't matter imo. It's beautiful to see these dragoons dance like that.
Great series but I found bisu underwhelming. If ssak didn't go wraith he probably would have won with his push if he added more factories and made Goliath.
Absolutely, his micro in game 3 was great but this was definitely the "terribad at PvT" Bisu I remember, and not the one apparently tearing up the matchup on stream these days.

Care to explain?
In game 1, most protosses would have been completely out of the game after that opening, but due to VERY good unit control while breaking pushes, he was able to creep up and almost even out the game even though he was on even bases for most of the game (which is not ideal for protoss). I actually took the game as a positive for Bisu considering how competitive he made it after having completely ineffectual proxy gate and dt harrass.
Game 2 and 3 he displayed great decision making and micro, but the games didn't go long enough to get a very good read on his skillset.
Game 4, that was the one game where I thought Bisu played flat out badly, but then in game 5, he responded quite well to a semi unexpected wraith attack, and had good mechanics, macro and decision making overall.
I kinda cringed at how often Bisu lost units in the centre due to mines without having observers near by, but then again Ssak was making a concerted effort to shoot down observers. Ssak also made quite an effort to draw units out from Bisu and then plant mines behind them.

Oh God, thanks man for correcting me. I wanted write "MACRO games" (not "MICRO games") and I just got complete brain freeze, since i even wrote "where" instead of "were".
Just watched the VODs. I was not expecting the series be this tight, Bisu probably needs to step up his game after he advances to finals. I feel like the map won him the last match. That attack at circuit breaker was a huge blunder. Nevertheless I am so happy that he pulled t trough and will most likely get into the finals as well

What a series. A rollarcoaster of excitement, emotion and spider mine evading.
Theres just too much to mention on one post. Big ups to Bisu for the win. Most expected this outcome.. However, I knew all too well that Ssak has been playing in great form lately so it wasnt going to be easy for Bisu.
Bisu not only won this series, but also clinched his spot for the next season. This is huge for him because it gives him further confidence that he is back and showing tidbits from his prime days.
We know he can wreck any player in existence, its just a matter of whether or not he can remain consistent.

The same thing we can say for game 4 , if Bisu didnt do this ridiculously attack, he should won easy.
This was so fun to watch from game 1 till the end. I play protoss, I usually cheer for protoss players. Yet every time Bisu is on, I kind of would like him to lose. Not because I don't like him, he seems a funny and a cheerful guy that has mad skill, hands down best protoss ever imo. But it's because he's almost all the time the favorite to win the entire series and/or a tournament and I get all warm and fuzzy inside when the underdog takes the bo3 or bo5. It somehow feels fitting. Anyway, the series was amazing, I can't criticize for lack of skill or bad decision making because all those mistakes are what is making this game so thrilling to watch. I can't want for the others as well. Cheers to Bisu and I hope the other ro8 series deliver in a similar way, all the way to game 5.
Fun series, watching failed main proxy gates to failed dt mineral line run by to mediocre anti vulture harassment into almost even game with some arguable decisions. Bisu cheesing in BvT, seems like almost solid standard BOs.
