You noticed this the one time a year he came to toronto with your eagle eyes that have missed entire people playing. You then know that this cause his last injury even though this video just theorizes. Odd how you chose to wait too bring this to our attention till now and now when he was getting injured and how you just happened to come across this video after you started "yapping" about Kobe.... LoL, LMAO.... this is honestly the story you are sticking too and you expect people to believe? Really? come on man. i never stated it was my theory. your point of attack is invalid. your point is moot. i noticed him landing on his left leg years ago. me and some friends bounced around ideas 2+ years ago about how he could blow out his achilles. after that convo it was clear plenty of fans noticed he lands hard on his left leg. the guy takes 87 bazillion shots a year. that's 87 bazillion chances to watch how he lands on 1 leg. this isn't an egyptian pyramid mystery... but u do have to watch the games and not read boxscores to see it.

Kobe!!!!! i love Kobe: if you want to keep yapping about him go ahead.. i'm not stopping you. if you want to talk about me.. PM me and keep it out of the NBA thread. Whiteside will try to play tonight's game with 16 stitches in his right hand and he practiced shooting with his left hand today.

you claimed i was trying to say it was my theory. before the convo began i stated it was not. done. you don't fully read my posts and create theories about me based on half reading my stuff. i've probably watched Korver play in 10 games over the last 5 years. my impression is his defense is bad. i don't run around looking up articles on guys. i prefer to watch the games. and he looked horrible last night. Miami is really missing Dion Waiters tonight. coming out party for Delon Wright. i'm actually watching basketball tonight

Hence why Adam Silver is talking to them and not the NBAPA. Many ppl are using this as an excuse to bash the players for other reasons that largely have to do with their perception of laziness. It's also not a two way street with players and fans(more so owners/fans). The fans dont have a right to do anything. If you dont like it - vote with your wallet and stop paying. Saying someone has the right to do something that concerns another persons well being when they arent even informed about what players and teams do on a day to day basis is ignorant and dangerous. The league in general never gave a shit because no one else did: until marquee players and teams did it one too many times. The soccer thing was a reference to soccer teams sitting players which seems to be widely accepted in Europe. And yes I think we can all agree something needed to be done. Quality of prime time games is as important as having them anyway. But if Lebron gets injured playing a game in late March you can bet fans and dumb media guys will turn around and blame the league for pressuring guys to play. I can agree with most of this actually. Except about fans not having a right to do anything, which I think they do as paying customers. If the league ever let it get to the point where fans stop paying with their wallet, then they will have really mest up. Sound business strategy would be to squash this before the fans get organized enough to do something like that. Adding to the "no one giving a shit until the marquee players and teams did it" comment(I agree), is that many more teams are resting players now, not just the marquee ones. All teams seem to have come to accept the act as a benefit. A supplementary driving force that also can't be overlooked is that of ESPN/ABC. They can really fuel a narrative in the sports-world if they want to. The company has obvious interests in doing so in this case, and they haven't held back on the league. The soccer thing is not totally comparable, since soccer is played year-round (clubs, champions league, international, etc). They don't have 4-6 months off like the NBA. @ the jimmies: that back and forth was great 8D

So offense is better than defense because you can't be worse than a zero on defense?

Minnesota's defense took another beating tonight. the Laker//Minnesota game was fun to watch and i have to hand it to the Lakers fans for being so enthusiastic given their season's ugly ending. Great fun to watch... cool seeing Nicholson in the crowd. Its 130,100,123,123,117 since Bjelica got hurt. ouch. if LA and Phoenix have the same # of losses who gets the better lottery probability thing? i guess the loser of the tiebreaker is really the winner.

In the event that teams finish with the same record, each tied team receives the average of the total number of combinations for the positions that they occupy…Should the average number not be an integer, a coin flip is then used to determine which team or teams receive the extra combination. The result of the coin flip is also used to determine who receives the earlier pick in the event that neither of the tied teams wins one of the first three picks via the lottery. Fair enough, I guess.

+ Show Spoiler + the guy counting Kobe's landings only watched a small sample of his landings in 2007. Furthermore, as per the video i posted, he relied more, and more on his left leg in 2008,2009, and 2010 as the right knee/leg surgeries added up. I'm a big Kobe fan ... but this was a long time ago and precisely WHEN Kobe began predominately relying way too much on his left leg i'm unsure of. but, i'm 100% sure he overly relied on his left leg for landings for years before his left knee and left achilles were blown out. so if he didn't rely on his left leg too much in 2007 then good catch by you. my impressionistic memory of when his shot landings changed could be off. this of course blows your theory that i watched the video first and then posted later. because my years are off. again, me and my kobe fan-boy buddies were lamenting Kobe's blown achilles and asking "how could this happen?" and we talked about how much he relies on his left left in shot landings. we never took things into the level of detail outlined in that video. also, this was a donutshop convo that took place like 3+ years ago. Country Style > Tim Hortons. Fuck Tim Hortons. i bet if you were to watch some Kobe from 2010, 2011, and 2012 you'd see predominately left leg only landings. if you'd like to research that and report back to us.. that'd be awesome man! i thought they'd use the same rules as a playoff tie-breaker. although this method of "tie break" sounds weird... its probably a better method. you don't want teams intentionally losing to "win" a tie-breaker.
