very brave of lebron james managing to get himself off the floor without a stretcher... credit to teh EMTs for rushing LBJ immediately to the hospital. https://streamable.com/xzmzc Lebron is toughing it out. he is probably in a lot of pain but he doesn't want any one to worry about him. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19019206/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers-takes-elbow-back-leaves-game

Perhaps the work of an amateur or neutered conspiracist. No no. Even a casual observer knows the Association will endeavor to make the Cavs appear competitive when they reach the finals, as they have done for two years already. He will note Tristan Thompson's 55th straight uncalled over the back foul. That Draymond Green will best Lebron in a petty sparring contest only to have that victory rescinded "on review". Perhaps they will even endeavor to have the great Witch Doctor Stephen A. Smith put a hex on Lebron's opponent (as he did to cast an empowering spell on Ray Allen in 2014). The extent of their efforts is truly beyond limit. But, more seriously, Lebron, for a superstar, and TT for a good roleplayer are two of the players one which their playoff performances can be most affected by refereeing. If refs apply "Shaq rules" properly to Lebron (aka you, Shaq committed the first foul and we didn't call it, so we are letting minor hacks go) he gets fewer FTs, lower FG%, etc. If they go only halfway (let Shaq initiate contact, call petty hacks anyways) you have to 2015 Spurs him to win. And Thompson, jesus, he should foul out in under 10 minutes of gametime every playoff game. One year late for both of those dates there It's interesting now that I think about what you brought up, though. From what I've read, Lebron does get "Shaq'ed", missing out on foul calls because he's so strong, but he's also the goto example when people talk about "superstar calls".

From what I've read, Lebron does get "Shaq'ed", missing out on foul calls because he's so strong, but he's also the goto example when people talk about "superstar calls". Lebron does get "Shaq'ed" in that people hack his arms as he goes up after he clearly pushes off or commits a charge during the drive. This is a proper application of the "Shaq Rules". Of course, in other games, or at different times during the same game the first pushoff (and often with LBJ traveling) is ignored, and the arm contact is called, thus "superstar calls". It all stems from a failure to properly call offensive fouls (starting with illegal screens), of course. Edit: Jesus Christ. If Lebron ever lives down this "elbowed in the back" the media and the rest of the NBA players have no credibility on any subject ever. That is a back massage. People pay for that kind of thing!

As for the back thing, I don't expect it to affect him in the future, but if it was a stinger or something like that, his reaction on the floor might be understandable.

is this a shot at the RJ/Frye Podcast Project? i've seen enough... Cleveland has no chance to win the championship this year. the east had virtual parity with the west last year. not so this year... the east is getting stomped. whoever comes out of the east dies an ugly death in the NBA Finals. it was great arguing with people about how crap the east was.. then a 57 win team from the east beats a 73 win team from the west. we sure saw what those 73 wins were worth when it really came down to it. the east has <530 wins this year. the east is getting stomped. its not close. last year it was close. slight edge to the west as the win//loss record indicates. You even stated that you had seen him maybe 10 times in his career? Are you really suggesting based on that you predicted he was gimped? come on man. i knew nothing about his injury. i saw he was slower than usual. now we know why. i made no prediction. i did notice he looked really really slow and worse than usual. my observations are congruent with his now revealed injured status.

It's funny how you claim you noticed him slower then "usual" but in a early post talk about how you have barley watched him. And didn't know he was known as a poor defender before that. Classic JimmyJ flip flop. no, i said i've seen him play in ~10 games and was going on my impressionistic memory of him. so nope my observation was congruent with his status. u look silly for being overly critical of my observation. u should've just let it play out. now all the info is in.

the reason all these teams have similar winning percentages against each conference is due to the fact that the conferences were close to equal. sry this was argued to death last year. and my opinion is reflected in the #s not in some dream world bias. 3 west teams had a shot at knocking off GS. they failed. a 57 win team from the east did it. its over. this is boring stuff from last year... let's watch something fun from this year.

Not what Vegas is speculating. And I am not talking about Winning the eastern conference i am talking about winning an NBA title. Specifically, this statement." Raps having 0 chance. It would be easy to find more where you fully admit, even argue that no team especially the raptors out of the east have any chance vs who comes out of the west. Infact this discussion started by you saying with how the cavs are looking no one has a chance. Well the wizards celts are much better then last year and if lowry gets healthy so are the raptors. So if there was such parity last year? And more teams got better then got worse from last year why is the east so bad? Even your own logic shows that the cavs were by far the best team in the east and them faltering is huge. Where as in the west now if the Warriors stumble or say face an injury to there best player (cough cough) do we not think the Spurs and rockets can't carry the torch? Or the Warriors are not still deadly? This was the same last year. this argument is classic you, you don't even believe it based on your past statements but because you said it, and your ego doesn't allow you to go "oops my bad" you fight to the wall on something everyone knows is crazy. This is up there with RJ being one of the most important free agents, and Ohio completely eliminating homlessness in the 80's ROLF you are mixing up last year with this year. in the 2015-2016 season the east record was 608-622. the Raptors do have no chance of winning the NBA title this year. The east is a lot worse than the west this year. The east has 528 wins this year. It won't get anywhere near 608 wins of last year. again, i go by #s not wordy dreamworld pictures. Ujiri knows all this and this is why he has such a young bench and guys like Wright, Poetl, and Nogueira are getting so much playing time. The Raptors are developing for their long term future.
