A while back, I posted this on TL. Two and a half years later, I finally finished another drawing... (inspiration and time is hard to come by these days)...
A little back story. My wife and I like watching anime. Anyway, one day we decided to start watching Dragon Ball after I found out that she had never seen it before. So we watched the original Dragon Ball (with Goku as a kid), Dragon Ball Z Kai (instead of DBZ), and almost all of the movies (including the two most recent ones).
Before we started watching, I buckled up expecting a nice trip to nostalgia but fully expecting to be somewhat disappointed given DB's known flaws and the fact that is a rather old anime. My thought was that I found this to be such a great show back when I was a kid and younger teen, but heck, I'm older now and my standards have changed.
I was very wrong. I actually got to realize how much of a classic Dragon Ball truly is now that I am older (and wiser?). So much of what we take for granted in modern anime/shows were inspired by Dragon Ball.
So yeah, I may not know whether Goku can beat Superman in a fight. But I do know who I will be cheering for.
We're watching DB Super right now. May DB never end.
Anyway, here's the drawing... Cheers TL!

Looks great. SSGSS Goku loses to Superman (this apparently has been proven by Youtube).
I'm one of the proud few who has seen the top of the mountain and completed the Ƶ achievement so I can appreciate this. There are no other thoughts on the matter.

Ah, that's so cool. Looks nice. I think you should colorize it but even if you leave it at that, it's fine. I drew something one of those days too but I had it digitized and colorized, I thought about it because it's also Dragon ball inspired. I will put it on a tshirt soon, haha. + Show Spoiler +

It would be illegal, but folks will probably pay good money for a tshirt with that on it.

i was a code s level artist as a kid and my best friend painted a #1 dog tag on my drawing. i understand if you feel the same, but this can only be a good thing.

I will have it digitized, psd file, and I will share it here, if you like.

maybe he meant vector, it's already digital. Vector is infinitely scale-able which means you can use it for any kind of printing without losing of quality. Also it's a cool drawing, i suggest using dark ink pen for manga style drawings, they look cooler, more authentic and easier to convert to vector formats. You can still shade with lines and such.

Wow glider's posting on my blog, cool! Dark ink pens? So not a pencil right? I'd have to work on that. It still happens far too often that I think I'm sure this is what it should look like but end up reworking something. With a pen, I can't erase stuff.

Vector is nice but the only vector art I do is in Flash CS, I have not used vector programs, I don't even know a single name. So what I did was repeat the lines with pure black traces and I will share the *.psd. Op can color it (if he wants to learn some PS) or someone else can, I can too if I feel like it some of those days. There's a layer for Goku and for Gohan. If you look at the Gohan layer alone, some lines are colored not black but some gray. This is because with black they seem too thick when the two layers are both visible. Feel free to do whatever you like to this file. Goku and Gohan PSD
