Thanks to:
Hot Bid and Kennigit
These guys planned this thing out to its very detail. I think a lot of you can't even imagine how many hours these guys put in to TSL the past few months.
Our programmers: R1CH, SonuvBob, Bockit, PoP
Thanks to them for giving us a hack-free event, paired up with an excellent website and even a TSL database!
Our casters: Artosis, Day[9], Chill, Manifesto7 and Yannis
The TSL videocast was both accessible to those not so familiar with the strategic depth of the game as to those who loved deep analysis. Artosis and Day[9] shined with excitement most of the times paired up with Chill's calm analysis. A few times we even got to hear the two manliest persons (I'm sorry Reach) in the StarCraft scene: Manifesto and Yannis.
I'd like to thank Vaul too, who has been covering the TSL preliminary stages, and unfortunately could only cast a small portion of the TSL Ro16 due to lag.
Our sponsor
No sponsor, no prize. No prize, no players. Without Razer, this TSL would have meant a lot less to the foreign StarCraft scene. Even after agreeing to sponsor our event, they kept supporting it with a bracket contest and a great deal on their products.
Our liaison team
Thanks to Manifesto7 and FakeSteve for organizing our contacts with Razer.
Our graphics team
Alffla, XeoFreestyler, d.arkive, LastRomantic, Sigrun, Yubee, pachi, KizZBG, Daigomi and Yannis_Ziakas.
The website, the player pictures, the overlay, the banners all was done by them. If you liked the art they made check out this thread, and thank them there.
Also, special thanks goes to Yannis, who made the awesome intros we all love.
Our coverage team
Composed of Daigomi, Hot Bid , Plexa and Manifesto7, they kept the TSL close to its viewers. Interviews, recaps, previews, it all added to the excitement. Big thanks to them.
Our referees
Intrigue, Carnac, Kennigit, FrozenArbiter and a few I must have forgotten about, helped out with keep the TSL games fair and mannered.
Our ladder partner
Raelcun, Yello-Ant, Snet and Scythe, my hat goes off for you.
Various others
- flag, for helping the entire foreign scene catch numerous hackers (yes Spades, that includes you).
- MeetYourMakers, WGTour and GosuGamers, for providing additional coverage of our event
- PsyonicReaver, for being a guest commentator during the qualification stages
- You, for supporting our event, and tuning in to our videostreams.
This is not the end
Help us entertain you
Even though TSL Season 1 has only recently ended, your precious TeamLiquid staff members are already working to make TSL2 a reality. We will not release any details yet, but I promise we're doing everything we can to make TSL Season 2 happen, and even bigger and better than the previous season
To do this, we would love some general feedback on season 1. Think about what you really liked, and more importantly, about what you disliked. After that, make a nice structured post here. We'll do our best to grant your wishes.
In the meanwhile..
In the meanwhile you can enjoy all of our TSL Season 1 vods here, or watch all of the TSL Ladder replays from your favourite players here.
