We'll be collecting additional prizing & funding via Matcherino and the prize pool will be accommodated accordingly. (Please note that this will only funnel to the main event, prizing for the qualifiers is not included)
FORMAT:
Top 4 players from each qualifier will be invited to a RO8 final event, and earn a little cash in the process.
Qualifier rounds: Bo3 (all)
RO8: Bo3
Semi-Finals: Bo5
Finals: Bo7

who has high level offraces? I'm pretty sure Nerchio was a pretty highly rated random player back in the day but not sure about now

I see what you did there! Nerchio can't play the qualifier since he will be in Kiev... Hell, most of top Europe players will be at the WESG qualifiers!

I know you're probably joking but I've been playing random since 2011 and Protoss has become way harder to play in LotV. If there's an "easy" race it's definitely Zerg right now.

absolutly agree i play random myself and protoss def became tougher while zerg became easier. but it was a joke only partwise. still think when it comes down to learn 1 or 2 strong builds, the execution with toss is still easiest.

Sorry for the delayed update, we were both at twitchcon all weekend
After hearing the requests of players to move the event, we will shuffle things around and try to allow them to play. CURRENT QUALIFIER DATES ARE IN VALID AND WILL BE CHANGED

Update:
Qualifier dates in the OP are now updated, we'll play them on the 12th & 21st, allowing players to try and avoid major WESG conflicts.
