If it gets past the adept vs adept phase i find pvp really enjoyable with disruptor play or chargelot archon immortal. It just really doesn't happen anymore. Also getting past the adept phase is the key to getting enjoyable games in all Protoss matchups now.
Sadly you're right, and this would explain why tvp is so miserable to watch, because the entire game is the adept phase.

But they singlehandedly own forcefields which were one of the big "balancing" factors in pvz in wol and hots, since you would need sentries to help stop early pushes as well as be able to have any sort of decent fight in the middle of the map. I think ravagers might be one of the reasons why toss has adepts, to put a little pressure on zergs early on (without adepts toss would have absolutely no harass units in pvz aside from warp prism drops - which aren't really that good without adepts in them - and oracles/phoenixes), and has photon overcharge, to help defend early ravagers.

Dark>>>Classic (Classic said himself that Dark kills him in practice)
Zest>>>Patience (this one ain't even close). Dear>>>Solar (most likely) Zest>>>Dear (last season he beat him 4-0 so yeah)
Finals gonna be Dark vs Zest, I think people predicted this a few weeks ago when it was confirmed they were in different brackets. Dunno who wins this.

Zest is notoriously bad in PvZ.

dreadful day for KT, specially since it's against two SKT players :s

You say that but he VERY rarely goes up against Zergs. He went vs SoO in GSL S1 and killed him, he went up against Solar in GSL S2 and killed him, the only big losses he's taken in Korea are to Rougue in SPL. Zest and Dark are 2:2 this year I think.
We don't know if he avoids Zergs because he's bad against them, or he focuses only on PvT/P because he barely ever has to PvZ.

Wow dat SKT stomp.

Funny how the rise of one KT coincides sharply with the slump of the other. Both in Starleagues and Proleagues. SKT had a stronger start of the year, then faded and got overtaken by KT in mid-year. Is the cycle turning once more?
