Hey guys!
Since a couple days, I cannot use my left hand at all due to joint pains in my whole body (well, the joint parts of my body ;D). Yet still I feel the urge to play a computer game every now and then. Do you have any recommandations for games which can be played with one hand only?
Games, I came up with so far: - Online Chess - Hexels - Rollercoaster Tycoon - Audiosurf 2 - Cities: Skylines - Hearthstone
Thanks for your help and have a nice day!
P.S.: Up until the pain came, I was playing Dishonored. So anything that feels a little sneaky would be much appreciated. Cheers!

This answer was so obvious I didn't think anyone would dare to...
I guess this is one of those "welcome to the internet" moments.
Any computer games anyone?

Play summoner necromancer in Diablo II and listen to audiobooks at the same time. It's kind of nirvana.
Along the vein of chess, you could try out Go, though the learning curve is very steep.

Prison Architect is a good game for mouse only. Games like Civilization and Stellaris are good as well. Banished is a fun little game too.

You could also try something like the logitech g600 (my current mouse). 12 thumb buttons allows me to do simple things without the keyboard (I could even do the first 3 min of HotS with it - not so much in LotV).
Might only be worth the investment if this is a long term issue.

turn based games work really well here. Check out Civilisation 4,5,6 something like HoMM could work, some RPG's are turn based as well, i dunno there's plenty of room i think when you concentrate on the "relaxing" games everybody else plays; those that don't require insane apm or multitasking.

In the vein of the post above, the Age of Wonders series, any of the management games like Football Manager/ Championship manager.
Why do you have joint pains though?

Faster Than Light is a good game, easily just use one hand.

A number of years back my sister was having trouble with tendinitis and the like in her right (dominant) hand from artwork and had to stop using the hand for most things, so she was playing games using her left hand only. She was playing console (e.g., ps2) vice computer games for the most part but found some that work well with one hand. I recall her setting some challenge game records in Final Fantasy X! (something like Yuna only no sphere grid no summoning no this no that)
Good luck recovering from your problems with pain. Hopefully you'll be two-handed and capable of 400 apm soon.

Thanks everyone for the help!
@DocSchlakk: I will try this Linked thing - looks interesting!
@ApothetikSchozoid: Banished seems interesting and is on sale right now: instabuy! :D Prison Architect I dont know... it seems so bustling, which annoys me pretty fast.
@Yosu: I hope it will get better soon. The lab will have my results on monday so lets hope for the best,
@Cele: Of course! How could i forget HoMM. The problem is: I dont know any of these relaxing games :D Hence this blog
@Chef: I actually played a summoner necromancer once... and I wont go there again.
@Deleuze: Faster Than Light I would have never thought of, but the feedback is quite good. And its on sale! :D
@Micronesia: Yeah, luckily my right hand is quite OK. Thanks for you wishes, but the times where I played with 400 apm are long past. :D
Thanks again for your good advice. I will definitely try some new games and tell you how it went. Playing new games is also a great distraction. (And meanwhile I dethroned quite a few people in ninja mode :D)

The 2012 XCOM remake plays REALLY well with one hand, either on PC on iPad. I suspect XCOM 2 does as well.
Hope you recover soon!
Edit: Super Hexagon is also a great game for one-hand. Minimalist arcade game. Check it out.

Many of the old 90s RTS games like the old C&C's, Anno, Stronghold, Knights & Merchants... Those were all too old to properly use hotkeys or unit groups. You had to do everything with the mouse. Especially in Knights & Merchants. Man that game had intense micro.

Grand strategy: Europa Universalis series, Crusader Kings series, Hearts of Iron series, Victoria series Point & Click adventures: There are too many good to list, Monkey Island series (1-3 are the good ones) etc etc Turned-based strategy: Jagged Alliance 2, HoMM series, Battle for Wesnoth (not sure if it's free anymore) etc Dungeon crawlers: Eye of the Beholder, Legend of Grimrock, Dungeon Master etc Card games: Yu-Gi-Oh! (on Dueling Network) - only TCG I played online, there is a lot of garbage out there these days though
