Alright im going to keep this short and just explain quickly what happened here. At my High School we were having a vote for the Head Boy and Head Girl, for next year, which happens to be my last year there. The election for both head boy and head girl was a clear landslide for one of the persons. The two people running for head boy, were a guy named Ian, and another fellow named Marsh, Marsh was the clear choise, he has been on student counsel every single year since grade nine, and during his speach has some really great ideas. On the other hand, Ian forgot to hand in his speach on time, so he couldnt do one, and also has absolutley no experience. When my physics class heard who had won the election, we had a little talk about it. As it turns out most people thought it would complete rape for Marsh to win over Ian, so they didnt vote, out of our class of 30 only 3 people ended up voting. As a result Ian won this election, which was a massive suprise to everyone.
The excact same situation happened with the head girl, and as a result we have an inexperienced, fat, emo, and she is dyslexic. I was in her English class one year and she would always volenteer to read shakespeare, and while reading she would add words into it, and change some words also.
So to sum up wat happened, bascialy everyone thought it would be a landslide, so very very few people voted, and the person who should have been raped, ended up winning.

The Dyslexic emo, and the other one have to READ off of a piece of paper the announcements every morning.

So I'm guessing Marsh voted for Marsh and Ian voted for Ian. Then Ian's best bud voted for Ian. And then everyone else was like "YEAHH MARSHY FTW!" and proceeded to not vote.

same thing happened with us for prom my senoir year. my friend and long time neighbor was student body president and she said out of the 280 people in our class, only 18 people voted for prom king and queen.
but in my situation, the couple that everyone thought was going to win, did.

student government is a joke.

This is a lesson well learned, I hope. I don't think this is exactly why Bush got elected though :-/
