We have seen a rise in balance whine recently, so we're going to be moderating LR threads more harshly. Please try to keep the LR a happy place.

Unless Zest is really good against Zerg in practice and they were expecting Solar. Or maybe they were expecting Dear. Either way neither of those make sense. Solar is still undefeated in LotV ZvP though

Sure, there were a lot of intricacies, but it's design was just damn too much of a snowball effect. If you are way too behind economically, well, you're fucked unless you turtle pretty hard. Or if you do crippling damage, well, guess what? You win because Protoss was heavily reliant on tech. That's why I didn't enjoy PvP too much whenever Colossus was involved. It usually came down to your colossus count, army composition, and positioning, which really gives no room for error and no way to come back unless your opponent fucks up. I mean in BW, it was usually a Dragoon and Reaver war, which was pretty damn exciting. And now it's essentially irrelevant early-midgame building up (unless someone just kills the other guy). Then it's disruptor/blink stalker for the rest of the game where all that matters is that one key disruptor hit and nobody can push advantages anymore. Takes the strategy right out of RTS. I don't understand the argument. If tech, economy, army positioning, control in fights, colossus count, composition matter - isn't that much deeper than gambling on good disruptor shots?
