6-8 hellbats + liberator with scv surround really crushes a nydus allin
the important part is surrounding the nydus with your units before its ready. If you don't notice the nydus and it pops into your base you're pretty done..

Most TvT is still marine/tank vs marine/tank. TvZ: Liberators are best used later IMO coupled with bio (and ghosts) for dealing with Ultra switches. Unless you are using them for harass early on in which case they are an invaluable tool. Or you scout an all in and think a Liberator would benefit you more than a medivac. Against Roach/ravager most people like marines, some marauders, tanks, and medivacs. And against ling/bling/muta people are liking MMMM with liberator support to help deal with a rising number of mutas. TvP: The meta is about to change a good bit with the adept nerf and pylon overcharge change so you should be safe practicing a Reaper FE into two more rax which was common in hots. I'm also going to play around with a Reaper FE into widow mine drop because of the pylon overcharge change. General unit comp is marine, some marauders, tanks, medivacs, and Liberators/ghosts late game. Marauders got nerfed so in general we build less than we did in HotS. Many high level players aren't even making any at all. Can you not open with reactor hellion TvZ like in hots or mech in TvT? Don't like the feel of the current openers vs Z and T.

Do you just unload the tanks to one place or is there a better way to do it? from what i know you want to 'poke' with your tankivacs with marines right behind them, incase your opponents wants to charge in. Preferably you would 'poke' a region where you have more tanks than him. I believe terran is a opportunistic race and there is no perfect answer to this.

If I scout only one gas can I conclude that 2-rax reaper is not coming? Or is it possible to do 2-rax reaper off one gas?

I saw some people do it, but then you don´t have enough gas to start all reapers immideatly, so it should be an easy hold, because it snowballs a lot slower.

Since you can afford the second rax earlier than you could in hots, if you are going 2 rax reaper some people will go gas rax rax so that the second reaper is quicker. Rax gas rax isn't that efficient but I've seen people do it, probably cause it's how it was done in hots. 3rax reaper is always 2 gas. Is this still accurate for how to rapid fire snipe in LotV? I actually made my first ghosts today and noticed my HotS snipes didn't seem to move over correctly.

I feel this really puts my TvP build of ractor rax, cyclone, liberator on ice. Is now the best way to open what I'm seeing many Terran perform which is widow mine + 6 marine drop as a universal opener? Widow mine drop was the best build that Terran had in HotS and now it's viable again. I'd recommend doing it, not just against phoenix, but just against everything in general, because it's far more flexible than cyclone liberator openers; you can split your army several different ways to do more damage depending on Protoss's composition, easily put on some pressure while remaining defensive at home, go into fast third, go into more barracks, etc. It's a better build in almost every way.

I am a high masters terran (usually sit at top 500 EU), and I just cannot stand tankivac play. I've been giving it a chance, but two months now since release and it still makes me feel physically unwell from just how wrong tankivacs feel to me. But I also don't like going mech in TvT, and I am more of a macro player, not an all in player. So, has anyone at the same level found a way to compete in TvT without depending on tankivacs?

I had the same during HotS with widow mines. They just felt wrong and the meta was like 4M parade push... i switched to Zerg during HotS. That isn`t very helpful for you, but maybe, just maybe, with a few lucky patches the tankivac meta will be gone. And until then, figure your way around the current meta. You are masters! Maybe you can create a viable air build that works for you in TvT... dunno. But i know where you are coming from
