Alright, so, flash back to the day when IdrA announced he was leaving Starcraft (February 2014). This was about that time that I was casting Starcraft 2 from my family's garage in America.
Oh, right, but let's quote the closing paragraph of that post on TL first:
I'll be going back to school. I have no plans to stream dota, or any other game right now, as I get very few viewers for it and I feel dumb inviting people to watch me be bad at something. It is possible I'll stream other games in the future, or be involved with esports in general if something interesting and practical pops up, but for the time being that's it for me. Thank you all.
I remember CatZ playing DotA 2 with IdrA before on stream.
So, how did this game begin with me and the gracken (assuming this was the real gracken). I heard him open up his voice comms in the game, and then I said, "You sound like a Starcraft 2 pro named IdrA." There was a short silence, then another teammate said on voice, "Who? Me?" Then, assuming it was the real IdrA, he then jutted in saying, "He was probably talking about me." But it really sounded like him all the way through.
I was streaming at that time, but I didn't export the highlight of that days stream. A friend of mine was watching at the time though, and I started trolling this guy who sounded like IdrA as we were losing the game. You know, the old-coined stuff like "On a scale of 1 to IdrA how mad are you?". I could probably go digging through my match history on DoTA 2, but am I going to be able to hear the audio from a game of DoTA 2 played almost 2 years ago now? Can I even play that replay?
I remember when QxC came to Taiwan that summer, I told him about it, And I was just like, "You know, looking back, that could have been the real IdrA. I feel like such a douche now." It didn't occur to me at all at the time I was in that game that it could have been the real IdrA.
This is just something I wanted to get off my chest.
