mind telling us what type of games those are? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (aka Dracula X on Sega Saturn) A sidescrolling game set in medieval fantasy, with vampires and monsters. I've only played 3 of the series, and I don't know if this was one of them, but they're definitely all fun. Fallout 1 & 2 I don't know. I've seen it before, but never played it. An old school style RPG, I guess. Within a Deep Forest (Freeware game! go DL it for free!) You're this ball thing, and you can change into different ball things, and you go around bouncing up and down in a side scroller. Cool gameplay, will remind you of Mario a bit. I got pretty far, but then I stopped for a couple months, and now I have no idea where the fuck I need to go. Chrono Trigger Old school RPG, never played it, but I guess it's kinda like Final Fantasy, with different story (something about time travel). Banjo Kazooie Played a bit of this. Pretty much just like DK 64 if you've ever played that. My top 5 that aren't StarCraft: Eternal Darkness (it's this sort of rpg for the gamecube, but you get a Sanity metre, and when your character sees fucked up shit, he or she will start going insane, and if it gets low enough, the game will start trying to play tricks on you too... it's really fun lol. Beat it like 4 times I wish there was a sequel. Also, the story and voice acting is pretty much the best you'll ever find in a game). Super Mario World (definitely have a friend for 2 player) All of the Donkey Kong side scrollers (definitely have a friend for 2 player) Castlevania IV (definitely the best of all of them, it's for the SNES and you get a whip) Super Mario 64 (common, these games are just so fun)

Seriously do this. A gamepad helps. Pretty good list, I love Chrono Trigger and played the hell out of Banjo Kazooie when I was a younger. Too bad I never got a copy of the second one, is it worth playing?

Another good story oriented game is Planescape Torment. You'd be hard pressed to find a game with better writing. I could never make it very far in Fallout. Got bored kind of fast. I agree the writing in Planescape is the best Ive ever encountered in a game, it gives me this warm feeling of immersion unlike any game Ive ever played, its like reading a good book. Such an intresting world..
