The game where you were Zeus, I wasn't roaming/laning with you at all, but from the number of times I recall you getting caught out, just watch map awareness (I think I recall a lot of smoke ganks from the other team) and when people disappear in a warded area on the map (or even a prolonged period of time when the possibly couldn't be doing rosh), that's the main thing. Just really know when to play more conservatively. I realise maybe at 1k you don't see smoke ganks (probably not? IDK) but at 3/3.5k you are going to definitely get them. Your game as Lion, we had a shit lane matchup IIRC, honestly I think once we got out of laning phase, we did a lot better. I'll have to check when I get home from work what builds you were using, I doubt you had the gold to go dagon, but given team/enemy comps (stupid amounts of magic damage), you should have probably gone pipe. I probably should have said something but James going 20-3 or something silly with Slardar, it really didn't matter in the long run. Laning phase, get in the habit of stacking and pulling creeps as well (the easy camp). Might not be happening at 1k but the point is to get your carry to collect more farm or keep him/her safe early game. Several times we were pushed out against their tower. To stack and pull the easy camp you will need to time attacking and leading they away at x:53, sometimes I've been able to do it at x:55 from dire side but it isn't as consistent. | ||
